They already buffed him. It's called "Fuck you, I get tons of free AD because Im Lucian". In short its called Fervor of Battle. I recommend watching PhyLoLs gameplay of new Lucian build. Maybe then you will realize how strong this guy still is.

All I can say to that is good luck playing anything, if you don't even trust players who know what they are doing. With your understanding of this - no, Lucian won't be buffed. There is no reason for it.

See what happens in live, his winrate etc. If indeed he becomes weak, Riot will probably do something about this cause he's an ADC. You can survive for one or two patches without him being strong tier, right? I mean, some champs have been borderline trollpick for years.

It'll happen. I'm calling Lucian with the lowest winrates of all adcs except for Kalista who is intentionally kept bad. I'm gonna go with 44%. We'll see if I'm right in a few days.

And yes, I'll survive; I don't play Lucian or even adc. But people on my team are still going to pick this shit and I really don't feel like dodging every time someone picks that worthless champ on my team.

Nah, he's gotta get past Kog first. The Fervor changes hurt him even more and he has zero way to get out of assassination range, unlike Lucian.

Look at what you're writting ? You sounds really salty that you can't abuse the massiv powerspike this build gave. Yoiu can still play Lucian with his essence reaver+zeal item you'll still have 30% cdr but less damage in mi dgame but much more in the late game. My friend still played him with the crit build and yes,it wasn't as good in the early to mid game but it wasn't trash. You make it sound like Lucian is dead and in a Galio-like state.

Btw,you might need to have 10 stack to "burst" but you charge it really fast with Lucian.How is that a problem ?

i love how when riot removes abusive builds from champions, their players are crawling out of their holes and pretend that they dont have alternatives and its the fucking end of the world as if these champions werent viable before they started abusing these items.

item 3116 is going to be exactly the same.

lucian was building item 3508 focused builds and was top teir pick before the armor pen build caught on, and you can just go back to that. will his midgame be slightly weaker? yes. will he not be able to carry anymore by stacking crit? fuck no.

and dont tell me he was nerfed around the armor pen build, because he wasnt. they changed him to work less with armor pen and better with crit, and people still just went on and stacked armor pen, because its stronger in lane to bully his opponent around, and stronger midgame, when adc arent supposed to be that strong during these phases.

the fervor change will have little impact on him when he builds crit and might actually end up as buff in that case. especially since the ad factors into his abilities and into lifesteal.

Lucians winrate jumped from 50% to 54% when everyone started using the armor pen build. Riot then nerfed Lucian into the ground. He now has a 47% winrate with the armor pen build. His crit build is even lower.

they didnt nerf him into the ground, the nerfs were focused on the armor pen build. and giving more incentive to go into ad/crit.

Lucian's nerfs didn't target his new build like Yasuo's did. They removed Lucian's power in a very general sense, which meant that the new build was the only way to play him.

I suspect Varus and twitch are going to be hardest hit. Lucian will go back to heavy critical and be fine. The others missing ghostblade and armor pen is going to sting.

twitch is getting preseason changes with the assassin update to the point that its almost a mini rework. he will be balanced around all those item changes.

varus doesnt care much about the attack speed being removed from ghostblade.

removing armor pen builds from adc and giving them a push to go back to lategame builds was the entire point of these changes.

I understand that. Varus has just typically built around his Q aND losing the arpen is as well as the ghostblade stats are going to sting a bit. Esp with his terrible as growth due to.his passive. I'll with old judgements till the patch has settled a bit though.
