Banshee, could it be stronger?

These boards are a place for discussion, so please do post your opinion on item 3102 .

I usually pick it over Visage on most 'damage dealers' (burst, DPSers, you name it), anything non-tank, non-support is garanteed for me to choose Banshee over Visage. Even if they have very few CC, Banshee will do.

I just think that 40s cd is too high.

Would you mind having Banshee be stronger in what it's supposed to do? I'd be ok with it having lower stats, for an example 200HP and 30MR BUT, the spell shield to be in a 10s cooldown instead.

I don't think that wouldn't make it 100% pick. Visage would still be better, most of the times, on Vlad, Mundo and others. Is just that some teams have that wombo, after the first point n' click you're dead =P and it's not a matter of dodging, it's a matter of not being in their cast area, otherwise you're truly dead. It'd be a very good defensive item for any glass cannon who has fallen behind.

Wouldn't give great tanky stats for tanks, giving a mere 200HP and 30MR, but more resistant to CC! :D which nobody likes.. I think :3 unless you're the one who has cc :|

TBH. I think the difference between Visage and Banshee is pretty fair.

If you pick Visage you get stronger stats overall but if you pick Banshee you get the chance to eliminate the risk of cc at the start of the fight.

Each item would be beneficial to differing play styles.

If you were playing a tank then the visage would be the preferred pick due to the stronger overall stats and the fact that you'll be up in the enemies business.

If you were an adc then the banshee will allow you to avoid initiating cc and allow you the chance to quickly reposition yourself for the fight. Which is a crucial element for an adc.

But that's just my opinion.

Having the ability to ignore a single ability alone is pretty good, It a really not meant for tanks (though certainly helps), it's for the squishy that gets blowned up in a second. It doesn't need to be on par with visage for stats, it's perfectly fine where it is

The only change I'd want would be to change it from a passive absorb to an active spell shield that you have to use to block a spell.
