The upvoting system isn't necessarily a agree/disagree system.
It should be "this post is meaningful/useful" V.S "This post has is not meaningful or useful."
People downvote a post simply because they disagree. It can have great arguments but because the title is something they disagree with their going to downvote.
When the same people are upvoting 3 different nerf Zed threads its kind of circlejerking. I get that the original comment was kind of a joke but its a serious problem where people are biased and do not even want to discuss. In the last 1.5 weeks I have seen two "X champion is broken" with X being filled by Yi and Zed. In both of these the person did not even want to discuss, they just wanted X champion deleted.
Agreeing on a matter is fine. These comments were fine. But the boards really are plagued by circlejerking. If you agree on a post that is thoughtful or brings up something meaningful you can upvote it. If its just to nerf X champion who you also hate well then unless its a meaningful nerf you shouldn't upvote. For example I hate playing against Lux. But I do not just upvote any thread that says to Nerf lux unless theres some thought behind it.
EDIT: Not everyone circlejerks but theres too much of it already.
