Should I get fiora or wukong

I need a champion to carry top with. Remember I'm a b4 scrub. I admit I suck or i wouldnt be bronze. If I were good, I would be gold by now. Anyways should I get fiora or wukong. Fiora is one of those textbook everyone's salty about being brain-dead champions. I tried her myself in normals since she's free. I did ok. Nothing stellar. I just wait for them to mis posit to where I have a clear shot at a vital then q them and e then go back. That's how you trade. From what I can see, low skill floor with a high skill cap. Anyways she is also known for snowballing when ahead then getting 1v5s. Wukong is also a carry top lane who is amazing in teamfights as long as your team follows up. Same thing happens with ww and malphite. It usually results in a high priority target dying. Obviously wukong is easier than the likes of fiora but fiora can split push hard and deal some damage if you practice for about I'd say a week. Also the meta is focused on the early game which is why you se more early game beasts appearing like eve, fiora, niddalee, etc. Both can get early leads. What they do when they have them is different. Which should I get?

Hi there, Wukong main who also has played a good deal of Fiora (level five mastery but only one game in ranked).

First of all, Fiora is not an early game beast. You think Fiora's early game is good? Lane against a Pantheon, Teemo, or Darius to discover how Fiora can be abused early. I'd actually argue Wukong is stronger in lane due to his higher burst and trading potential.

Anyway, I honestly would say Wukong is one of if not the best top laners for climbing out of low elo. He's just more versatile than Fiora. While he definitely shines in team fights with his ridiculous ult he's also a decent duelist and splitpusher as well. It's actually very hard to deal with a fed Wukong while you're behind, which is very possible if you're good on him because his early game burst is actually pretty significant. He also boasts one of the strongest level 2 all ins in the game.

He can be built full damage and assassinate carries, or can be built with some defense if that's what you need to do.

He is one of the few champions who is both very high damage while also having the ability to initiate fights on his own. No one wants to fucking initiate in low elo, but with Wukong you can start fights with a five man knockup and win team fights for your team.

His W also gives him a fair amount of outplay potential.

I'd highly recommend Wukong.

I highly agree with the previous comment. However Wukong does have a slight learning curve and his success is very dependent on his match up. Until you become extremely comfortable with him he may seem under-balanced, but after a while you'll understand the strengths and weaknesses a lot better. Don't get frustrated if he doesn't work for you at first.
