@People who are mad over the state of the game for some time now: Lets just accept the truth
I am a season 3 veteran and uninstalled 6 months ago and was my best decision ever. I felt really upset over the direction of the game and was constantly frustrated by the devs, balance team and champ designers over the course of the game. In the end my frustration prevented me from enjoying the game and made me toxic ingame so it was better to quit playing. Season 5 was the best and most fun season I played and compared to the current state of league the game lacks strategy (just snowball and stomps every game), champ diversity, decision making diversity (we used to have several runes and masterie pages for just 1 champ, now we have the same runes and masterie setuo for every champ) but what it lacks the most is FUN.
I remember a post from a while back about Riot in the old days when they started developping LoL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKbeDeu5Wbk The conclusion is that their current Lead Head Designer realized they were on the right track after months of muddling through when their staff started playing the game for FUN. I really want to know how many Rioters still play the game for fun and if they didn't have more fun back in other seasons.
But lets not forget that league is ultimately a business model. Lets also not forget that we have already amortized the game. There is not much money to gain from veterans who already have all the champs, most of the skins they want and runes and masteries are now free. Hence the current BE changes etc and focus on new players aka customers. Until they have been amortized and they will be replaced just like us.
If the current changes mean they lost less players (money) than they gained than these were the right choices how hard that may seem for players like us who lost the game we loved. If it is the opposite then it is time for Riot to do some very serious evaluation and start communicating with us openly about it.
All good things end.
