Riot needs another SR game mode

Currently everyone who views the a match as "practice for ranked" and everyone who views a match as "For fun, I just want to get my pick", get unnecessarily shoved together into the normals draft pick and it doesn't make sense.

I can understand people wanting to have a game mode that lets the practice a champion that doesn't impact their ranked MMR, but it makes absolutely no sense to shove them in with players who just want to enjoy the game, often resulting in top tier champions with players taking the match seriously against players on lower tier champions not taking the match seriously. These two groups aren't compatible and riot shouldn't be putting them together.

This is why team builder needs to come back.

they just need to add a dedicated "Ranked Practice" mode

ARAM could use it more. Currently, the full tryhard "only buys strong ARAM champs" group is queuing with the full casual "lol im so drunk rn" group, along with all the different perspectives in-between. For SR, there's always the option to swap to Ranked or Blind as appropriate. It may not be an ideal option, but at least it's there. ARAM players don't even have that choice.

It sounds great in theory but I feel like it would devolve into a bunch of trolls who pick things just to pick them like full ap udyr mid or teemo support under the heading of "it's just for fun dont take it seriously"

Isn't Nexus Blitz pretty much a SR clone with a bunch of RNG mechanics?

3v3 is pretty much like SR, but with a more unbalanced roster and harder snowballing.

We already have this? Draft is your "practice for ranked" and Normals/Blinds I just wanna play my pick. Not sure what you're trying to do here with a 4th que on top of that.

Team builder. I honestly never minded the waits (usually tooks like 5-6 minutes in TB instead of 3-4 minutes in draft pick), and i always got my champion and role. Was the perfect place to practice, and i found there was usually a lot less trolls (probably due to the slightly longer wait time)

Yeah I do agree there should be a way to practice top tier champions without affecting MMR. I understand people want casual and some want serious play. But I do want to practice top tier champions against each other , draft is always a mess in-terms of top tier and low tier champions being played.

I understand if it's a premade group and they all want to play top or low or a mix of both in terms of champion relevancy. Neeko

I really think Blitz could be it since it fits the state of the game (So much burst it's funny)

I've been spamming galio in blitz and damn he's ultra meta lol if you check my match history you'll start spamming him too.

I won't lie. I just use Flex as my practice for solo queue. Queue times are pretty quick, and everyone is playing hard because it is a type of ranked.
