Why play Wukong when there's a Riven
in a soloQ environment where people cant exactly Wombo Combo effectively...
Can someone explain to me?
I don't understand Riot's balancing concept.

maybe Wukong's gameplay is easier to grasp? maybe Riot think of Riven as requiring some extraordinary mastery of the champ to accomplish anything?
Why play either when Maokai or ornn are available?
they (Maokai and Ornn) have different skillsets.
Wukong and Riven have similar skillsets... except for Riven:
AoE knockup check... Dash skill check... better laning phase check.. better scaling check...
the only thing for Wukong is Armor reduction... except tankiness is matched by Riven's shield.
Okay first of all, you can't compare two champions linearly like that.
Second of all, even if you can, you're doing it wrong.
Why not?
For now, I see no reason to pick Wukong unless i'm doing a premade with friends for a wombo combo comp.
Either u're thinking i haven't put much thought into this OR perhaps u're the one who read too much into it and missed the Simple Big Picture(tm).
Wukong scales better and isnt as mechanical.
Pretty sure Riven scales better on more abilities.
In 2017, Wukong still has AP ratio on his W.
Why play Riven when you can play J4?
