Something still needs to be done about jungle.

The role has too much responsibility for the power it has.

You’re expect to ahem.

  1. Get every scuttle crab
  2. Get every dragon
  3. Get every rift herald solo
  4. Ward for all three lanes
  5. Track the enemy jungler
  6. Camp all three of your lanes
  7. Win every lane for your teammates
  8. Help push turrets but never take cs or share in plate gold
  9. Did I mention camp top or they rage quit out?

All while keeping up with your camps, being in every team fight without fail.

Also did I mention even when doing ALL OF THIS you are still going to be weaker than the enemy solo lanes?

And then, just to add to the frustration that is this role, you WILL be blamed from everything from the adc’s butt itching to the mid laners dog barking.

Junglers have ALL OF THIS responsibility, but don’t have the raw power to get it done.

Not to mention how punishing the role is to Anyone who doesn’t know even one small detail. You smited a camp because you didn’t get a leash. Gg scuttle and you’re being invaded for the rest of the game.

You got invaded on by the jungler and the bot lane, and yours didn’t follow? Gg. You’re now 3 levels behind.

If at any point you are auto filled into the jungle, and believe me, YOU WILL BE, you better hope someone on your team is willing to dodge. Because that game is almost always going to be a loss.

Jungle is now meant to be a vehicle to get assassins enough farm to go and assassinate people while making 'sick plays' Objectives are easy when you blow up a lane and get the laner to come help you with it If you enjoy junglers that are : Full tanks Sejuani Amumu Skarner Bulky non-juggernauts Trundle RekSai Volibear Misc champs that aren't full burst or damage Gragas Udyr Hecarim You don't get to play the game, the jungle is no longer for you.

There's only a select set if you want to play the (decidedly important) role anymore

AD Casters/Assassins LeeSin MasterYi Rengar AP Assassins Ekko Elise Shyvana Stealth Champs in general Khazix Shaco Evelynn Champs that Riot forced either into the jungle, or BACK into the jungle Karthus Taliyah Graves

Muting all is the only way to be an even remotely effective jungle.

Also, allies will rarely ever bother listening to pings.

Get the enemy jungle down to a quarter HP right next to your mid lane? They won't be there. They are too preoccupied last hitting three more creeps before they decide to walk over to your already dead body because an enemy jumped on you.

They only ever listen to your pngs when you are helping them get a kill in their lane and only if they are within sneezing distance of you at the time of your gank.

And you are supposed to do all these things with 12% reduced exp compared to a few seasons ago.

Remember, if you miss any of these objectives for whatever reason, you can expect to find yourself 3 levels under the enemy jungler.

It's a trash, toxic role that needs to be fixed.

Things to change, the smaller the krug the faster it should split with largest being slowest and small dropping instantly, transfer exp from scuttle back to the camps this change never really worked out and made it feast or famine if you fail to get the scuttle "on time" while also forcing out junglers who cannot contest river scuttle early.

As a jungler main who played the role since season 3, while being a bot, mid and top player on earlier seasons. I always felt super connected to this role. Although, I do help everyone when I play jungle, but I sometimes meet people who rage quit because I took 1 cs?

Sometimes people cuss me nonstop because I "stole" the kill while I was ganking . Isn't it a teamwork game?

Sometimes people rage so badly because the enemy jungler took Dragon while I am helping top or Mid. or Took herald while I am helping bot. Then they keep cussing at me even though I am doing my best for my teammates not for myself.

If I don't gank them. They will continue to say "Jungle Noob, GG we lose." Even though I can't really cut myself in 4 parts. One for each lane, and one for my own jungle to farm. It is indeed a toxic role, and as much as I love it. I am hating the fact that my very personal childhood junglers list since 2011 have 2 champions who are considered outdated. One is fine, but the other is extremely a bullshit for his lore and theme.

At least Warwick was nice after his VGU. I think Hecarim could use a nice VGU to match his theme of being the "Centaur of Death in the shadow isles" He is the rival of most champions in League and he is definitely the "true horror" who enslaves souls as well and has a lot of connections with the Great Lord Mordekaiser.

The other one I am not going to mention his name because most people wouldn't recognize him If I mention his name now. He is an animal yeap, but the gameplay and passive is just too awkward...

I think a cool way to shake up the jungle is by adding in a teleport shrine to both sides of the jungle that link to each other. Only useable by champions who take smite. That way, in this new meta, junglers can still have an impact. Please take my idea into consideration!

I mean at least jungle camps should be easier to clear if its expected from you to be at so many places time just doesnt cut it for everything. Also yeah i just inted the enemy jungler 3 kills and he has higher kda than you so uhm JG diff please nerf jg.

I agree so let's remove responsibility 2,3,6,7,9 and make the role actually proportional in impact to all other roles so the game doesn't stay a 1v1 between jgs every game and laners can actually impact the game.

if my jungler doesnt ahve a skin, i dont bother helping him. especially when he invades.
