Why is Qiyana's knockback not a CC, unlike every other knockback in the game?

There is literally no other knockback in the game that acts like this.

If Qiyana hits a champion with her ult, they can continue to use abilities that don't have a cast time until they hit the wall. For example, if you ult Zed, he can ult you at any point before impacting the wall and avoid being stunned, even though he didn't juke it. The same goes with Kayn's ult.

It also doesn't stop movement abilities. I had a game recently where a Hecarim was running directly down mid lane and trying to dive me. I ulted him away as he started his E dash. Even though he didn't connect, it still 'hit' me, and instead of pushing me towards my turret, it pulled me in the same direction as Hecarim, away from my turret. I'm sure there are a ton of other unintended interactions like this.

Why not just make Qiyana's ult act like everything else?

You complain about that . But Qiyana can literally oneshot Zed before he does anything.

Even so, consistency is pretty important.

Whether or not she can one-shot Zed is irrelevant, since knockbacks should also have the CC part, and not just the moving people part.

idgaf. If she pushes like a shit and cannot be attacked because she's perma invisible like Vayne. Its ok to have that.

Dude, if I'm agreeing with Yenn, odds are it's pretty bullshit.

This is one of the guys I never agree with, and I'm agreeing with him.

Consistency is important, regardless of whether or not the kit is broken.

You can't interrupt Hecarim. No knockback, stun, cc or anything will stop his E from knocking you back (and damaging, although there are exceptions like Pantheons Passive that block this part).

The issue here being that it doesn't knock you back, it makes you follow Hecarim. If Alistar knocks him off of you before he connects, you don't get knocked back with him.

It's far more likely that people are starting their casts before the knockback hits them and then finishing the casts during the knockback. Can you provide us with some video examples of what you believe you're experiencing?
