Like holy shit the champion has like 10 different kits in one... What a great idea to make a champ that will have a 20% wr in solo and a 70% in high elo and pro.

The champ will literally be unbalanceable not only that but even learning to how play against it will be a blunder for new players (got to learn every single new combination of effects he can do).

Of course the champ had CertaintlyT touch, it just cant end any other way can it?

People are overvaluing combinations. He doesn't get unique effects for every combination. He just gets the following:

  • 5 abilities + an ultimate.
  • A secondary ultimate effect based on his primary weapon that is a bigger version of that weapon's ability effect.
  • A small secondary effect on each spell based on his secondary weapon.

That's it. He technically has a bunch of combinations, but they're all really easy to parse.

"Overloaded" is when they have access to too many niches at once. For example, on-release Akali rework having sustain, true stealth, hard CC, mobility, and burst damage. She had fat to trim that would still leave her as Akali.

Aphelios is not overloaded. Everything he does is appropriate for a marksman to do (telegraphed CC on a delay, AoE autos, long-range autos, lifesteal, sustained damage), but he doesn't have access to it all at once. He doesn't have dozens of abilities he can throw at you in a row or anything out of place for his role. He's just complicated

I'm sure people thought the same about Jayce when he was first released.

"OMG a champion with 10 abilities, ranged AND melee forms, and 2 separate passives!"

Though to be fair the new guy looks like Jayce on steroids, gg powercreep I guess.

I think you should stop using the word overloaded. Complex yes, overloaded no. He has trade offs and windows to fight him, like he seems pretty easy to kill, his only cc is a fucking slow that only roots if he has already auto attacked them meaning champions like zed or even supports like leona who can lock him down will be a pretty big problem for him.

Overloaded means it has way more then it needs, like ornm shield, or akali healing. Actually ornn is a pretty good example his kit is pretty simple not counting the passive but it's was very overloaded with he had cc immunity and a shield actually the shield in general made him pretty overloaded due how he used it.

It doesn't mean it has too much in it. Swain's kit has a lot especially after the passive changes but it's not overloaded. Sona's kit on paper sounds overloaded and complex but in game it's not.

Atleast he is unique. Unlike Kaisa or Senna who get 1851905109543890158 different effects on their abilities just to justify picking them.
