Make it an option to show champion names instead of player names above the healthbar

I can't tell these new skins apart to save my life. And now there is gonna be another batch of Mecha skins that all look alike. And Freljord Sylas is just discount Talon. I'll be watching a stream thinking I'm looking at a Maokai, but no, that's actually Ornn.

Your skins make champions unrecognizable, but I know you can't allow turning skins off clientside (because muh profits), so please make it an option to show champion names instead of player names above the healthbar.

don't you just enjoy when you accidentally focus the wrong champions because you mistook them for others?

actually if champion look too much alike , it's a huge UX failure for the game.

they purposefully tried to make different appearances so champion are witht he blink of an eye recogniseable.

i'm gonna personnaly have problems with sett and aatrox.

when champion are too similar it is really problematic, because it simply become a pay to win as paying for a skin will give oyu a significant advantage.

You can turn off summoner names over champs but it would be a cool addition if it also displayed champs names as well.

This is actually pretty clever. "Hey Riot, come take a look at this!"

Yes, yes, yes pls!!!

Also I would LOVE if we could get little champion-icons on HP bar.

Nothing is more intuitive than the champion icons itself. Everyone knows them.

They don't have to be big. Remember Garen Villain mechanic? He had that little icon of his villain on the right side of his bar. It's the same Icons you see on the minimap. Take this for every champ and put them on the left side and the Level icon on the right side.

So if there are 1 million effects on the screen again and I can't even see the champions itself atleast I can see the HP-bars with icon.

Make it "toggle" for people who dont want that.

Actually most games with different champions have this. Best example is WoW where you have an icon with the class symbol on your HP bar.

Especially since Riot prefers to make almost solely human champs nowadays (since they sale better). 95% of female champs are thin sexy humans. And 80% of male champs are normal shaped edge-lord humans.

Combine that with skins like the Project-skins and a chaotic teamfight where you have a millisecond to make the right decision and you have zero clue who is who.

Enemy team had a Diana and a Kayn with the purple skins in a recent game. Diana was fed like crazy and he wasn't, but there were times we'd blow cc on him on first sight because of how fast she could kill us. Stop making same skins.

I remember the time where i was facing a really fucking fed talon, and a cosmic dawn rakan, and the two of them looked similar enough with their blue segmented capes, i forget which skin talon had, but i kept using my vi ult to try to pick the super ultra fed assassin only for it to be rakan.

I'd actually really like this change. Had a game recently with a Jhin (forget which skin) and the nightbringer Sad Moon Boy. I kept getting the two confused for each other because they looked alike. In a chaotic teamfight, knowing who is who is very important

Nice shitpost OP but Ornn doesn't get skins. There's no way to confuse him with someone who actually has skins.
