Morde teemo Vlad

Used to play all these champs. Not anymore. The morde changed pissed me off beyond belief and I still think certainly t should do very unspeakable things that I can't mention.

Teemo didn't care as much since he was more of a for fun pick but it still annoyed me

In a sence, no champion is safe. All champions will be champed in some point in time, so I mean, it is best to just adapt to the changed, and pick up what you are comfortable with.

my champ did get one. went well, so im not complaining. i also feel like a lot of complaints about the reorked mages are exaggerated.

like vlad did come out stronger. people just need to adjust to the health cost on his e, and recovering health with his q. he deals a shitload of damage with that ability though.

Vlad is only stronger now against people who have no idea how he works (if he is even stronger at all). Anyone else can easily outplay his q or e by backing away for a moment/hiding behind another unit or frontline.

He doesn't have any hard cc or real mobility (lol @ the MS of Crimson rush) to ensure his abilities hit when he needs them to hit.

Olaf Viking! So cool I love his playstyle. Oh ok Riot I guess he needed a nerf, but the gutting was terrible Mordekaiser No one ever plays Mord so he won't get fucked with. Oh hi CertaintyT what are you doin-OH GOD PLEASE NO Viktor I dont even know what the fuck they are doing here. The changes he just got just made him so terrible feeling. Welp I can't win my lane anymore. BUT HEY AT LEAST I CAN DO WELL IN TEAMFIGHTS IF IM ABLE TO EVEN GET TO THAT STAGE Shen Can't stand his playstyle now. No more lane sustain and that damn ghost blade makes him so much more complicated. Vladimir Just. Fucking. Rip. Yorick I'm hoping to god that they don't fuck him up and actually make his rework decent. CertaintyT better not even look in his fucking direction.

Only got my Singed left but the mage item changes threw everything in a loop. Still need to figure out what to build on him anymore. Laning phase is fucking horrid with him now with no mana regen.

The mage update has been out for three or four days. You can't expect to stay a master of after his changes, you need to learn him again. And that will generally take more than 4 days.

You clearly did not read the patch notes on him. To get the full value of his new passive, you need to hit three skills. One being his W, another being his still shitty E that puts him far too close of range STILL, and either his ult or his Q. Now his Q is a linear easy to dodge skillshot. In laning phase it is very difficult to hit it his Q (same as pre-rework). But now his passive is useless unless you hit 3 abilities.

I don't need time to learn him again. its the same shit except that i cant win trades in lane pre-6 anymore. It is that simple. Teamfights? Brand is scarier now for sure but that is at 15+ minutes.

I agree that I need to learn what to build on him now but I do not need to relearn how to play him if he has all the same abilities but a different passive.

That is my complaint yes. That all of his power was shifted out of his Q, E and Ult (all three abilities had base damage AND ratios reduced) and placed into his passive, one that is almost non existent in laning phase. Brand gets pushed out of lane quite hard now, making him fall behind easily. Someone could make the argument that his passive will make up for it in teamfights but I am still not too sure about it just yet. Late game with items he most certainly melts people.

Maybe I just have to learn to give up on early game and just try my best to survive/farm until late game. Idk. But so far I am not having a good time with the number tweaks he was given, and the item changes didn't quite help him either in my opinion.

i dont want to take her mid when the Q time for it is insane plus i like support she had some decent potential but i guess auras are bad in riots book for some reason the nerfs/"buffs" on pbe shorten her abysmal range even more just for a little bit more "power" into her kit also Nami does everything sona does but better and with more range and her empowered autos work for three attacks and slow also nami isnt forced to build item 3100 to have meaningful poke

i'm gonna do some math for who ever has more damage and i will keep a score after each equasion to see who wins the damage math nami 0 -- sona 0 hymn of valor empowered power chord + lich bane = 25 -- 50 + 13 -- 192 + 103% ap scaling

tidecaller`s blessing + lich bane = 255 + 25 -- 52 + 130% ap scaling

nami 1 -- sona 0

hymn of valor 50 -- 200 + 50% ap scaling

ebb and flow 230 + 50% ap scaling - 15% per bounce

nami 1 -- sona 1

crescendo 350 + 50 with a 0.2 second delay with a width of 3 teemos and a length of 4 teemos

Tidal wave 350 + 60% ap scaling. size of 5 teemos moving at about 3 teemos per second ending at about the length of 9 teemos

Darius Love the rework. Was skeptical at first, but he's a much more satisfying champ to play. Fiora Same, a lot less boring and binary, with actual ability to outplay someone. Gangplank Barrels are more fun than a shitty speed up. Garen Tbh Garen's rework barely even counts as one. He was just given a tuning that turned out to overall be a buff that let him scale better. Graves Graves was cool, but his old kit was boring and generic. New kit is distinct and fun. Mordekaiser Okay this one is a shit sandwich. It's so cancer he's not allowed to be good. Poppy On one hand, her new kit is much healthier and easier to balanced, and rewards a player's skill more. On the other hand, I miss pull a trigga kill a %%%%% thug life Poppy, and her old kit was fun in a stupid kind of way. Shen His new kit is more fun and interactive, but the spirit sword does look a little goofy. Taric On one hand, he's much more fun. On the other hand, his ult is the most cancer ult in the game since Poppy's old one.

What's sad is Vlad has needed changes for forever and they just couldn't figure out how. And guess what, they still don't know how, but they went forward with it anyway just bc his rework has been sitting on their desk for so long.

Honestly, now I'm hoping they just scrap his entire kit and rebuild him like they did Sion and Taric, bc what they gave us was a crippled clunky version of the guy we already had.

Varus He's gonna get reworked, gutted, and forgotten, despite being pretty balanced right now. Sona All they need to do is buff ONE of her spells by a flat 10 and then they get another excuse to gut-gut-gut her for 5 patches in a row. Quinn She wasn't safe from the rework bat and still isn't safe from the gut knife. Nami She's balanced right now, which is why I fear for her safety. You have to play her pretty well to be useful. (Land those Qs) Lissandra NEVER SAFE. THE ICE IS NEVER SAFE. KogMaw Duh. Koggles is Riot's favorite punching bag. They'll smack him around with the nerf bat, apologize with a +5/10/15/20/25 buff to his Q, then SMACKA-DA-SMACKA-DA-SMACKA-DA some more. Kayle I just wanna have an excuse to play Kayle again. She's just outclassed in every way currently, but that doesn't stop the nerf bat and gut knife. Gnar I think I still smell the rot from the pre-season. Ugh. Makes me sick. Can't even PICK Gnar anymore. Evelynn I don't even play that much Evelynn, but I enjoy popping out of stealth and 100-0'ing the overextended enemy midlaner. She's Riot's failsafe punching bag. Cassiopeia Oh Cass...What did they do to you? Why does your E suck now? The base damage is ~3 higher than an auto-attack for a huge part of the laning phase. Kennen Even if he's pretty balanced right now, I'm always scared for AoE-stunners like Kennen. Lux There's a lot that could get nerfed on Lux. Shield strength, Q duration, E scaling, R cooldown (even more), scalings in general. I just don't think she's a priority right now.

Shout-outs: Blitzcrank If he got picked ONCE in a pro game, I can only imagine that he'd get swiftly shafted. Elise Another Riot punching bag that they frequent. I'm surprised she hasn't gotten any changes recently, considering they never will be able to make her balanced. LeeSin If his Insec-worshiping fanbase didn't throw a huge torch-and-pitchfork tantrum every time they reduced his base AD by 1 or a scaling by 1%, he would have probably gotten knocked down a few (hundred) pegs. Instead, they add MAXIMUM HEALTH DAMAGE TO HIS ULTIMATE because his winrate dropped below 53%-55% for like 1 picosecond.

As a Yasuo main, I do sometimes fear what they'll do to him. He's in a relatively safe spot, but I feel like if a Riot employee gets destroyed by a Diamond I Yasuo main they'll nerf him.

Also, what scares me is how often they're changing Warlord's Bloodlust. They've changed it, what, 4 times since the preseason? The first iteration of it was amazing on Yasuo, the second/third were not really even that great, and the fourth is better than the last two. While it was in the second and third iterations, I took Thunderlord's on Yasuo because it was simply better at the time - it was basically in the same time as when every person took Thunderlord's no matter what because of how broken it was. Turns out that the fourth iteration of Warlord's Bloodlust is better than Thunderlord's on Yasuo. My friend says that Yasuo sucks right now, that he can't do shit in the game whatsoever, and the effort put in is not worth the reward received. I asked him how he ran Yasuo when he played Yasuo, and he said that he takes Thunderlord's and maxes Q first. This bothers me to no end because of how stubborn he's being - I keep insisting, that, as a 200+ games played as Yasuo, that you should max E first, and you should take Warlord's Bloodlust, but he keeps saying that he's better at playing mid lane than me (mid-lane main since Season 4, whereas I'm a mid-lane main since April of 2015) and uses that against me when I say that he's playing Yasuo wrong.

They fail to even accomplish their own goals for the rework.

Careful what you wish for. That's how I felt about Vlad. Then instead of actually reworking him, they just took his old abilities and made them awful. Now It feels like I'm playing the same guy but some one strapped heavy lead chains around my ankles and arms. It's just not fun.
