You're only looking at one nerf though. The big nerf to Rengo that came several patches ago was one that changed his Bonetooth Necklace passive from giving %total AD to %bonus AD (giving %total AD was a bug). This was the main problem with him, because it caused him to get far more damage than he should have for the number of offensive items built.

Kha'zix on the other hand is pretty much fine. Yeah you're boned if you fight him alone and he isn't hard feeding but he can't do anything if you're grouped, or near minions/turrets.

OK and? Kha can go stealth middle of teamfight 3x and reposition. Jump in and jump out. Rengar can go in and then he HAS to fight to the end, flash out or fight until he gets 4 stacks and use W to escape.

Without isolation Kha'zix is outputting SIGNIFICANTLY less damage, likely won't kill a thing. Also he has less AOE damage than Rengar unless you upgrade W, which you didn't because in your example Kha upgraded Q E R.

Yes Rengar has to commit unless he gets peeled, no that doesn't make him worse in teamfights, or else Kled is the shittiest teamfight champion in league. Assassins aren't even really meant for teamfights anyways, they're supposed to pick a target off, and that becomes significantly harder when the target has nearby champions to peel for them.

Mastery 7 with almost 150k. I stopped playing him, because I don't really like to play AP Shaco and AD Shaco was gutted so hard that the one thing I loved most about him, his versatility, is completely gone now. Sad, just sad. After all the rework wasn't as big, but I don't want to support such behaviors by letting Riot think they've done anything good with this. I miss my clown, but he's gone already...

I'll play him again for sure, but not as long as he's a gutted AP champ or forced into a bruiser build if you want to play AD. Don't get me wrong, I've played Shaco with tank items and a good bit of defense mixed in before, but this always was a choice and changed every single game. Some games I'd go item 3748 , item 3156 , item 1412 , item 3047 , item 3143 + item 3026 and in others I'd get item 3074 , item 3087 item 3071 . This possibility is missing completely right now.

Funny how AP shaco has the highest jungle winrate on NA right now and on Korea's servers AD jungle shaco has an even higher winrate. Clearly people on the boards have no idea what they are talking about.

If he wasn't sitting at or better than 55% winrate he wouldn't be getting the nerf, but he is sitting at that spot. The data indicates he is too strong.

funny how he was fine and didn't need a fucking nerf. but riot nerfed him so fucking hard and gutted his ass cutting half his damage and suddenly his win rate went up by like 8% ( i think it when up by 8% ). shaco is nerfed, only reason he has high win rate is because when he e it doesn't do very much damage but enough to get and assist by slowing the enemy down. that's why he is supposedly at 55% win rate.

its mostly to stop ap shaco. I get people like flexing.... but not all champs can so why should Shaco be any different? He literally bursts champs building a small amount of ap. They just forcing him in the AD direction.

They could have never given him ap ratios to start and then this thread would never have been a thread to start.

Same thing with AP MasterYi . It was bs..... so they finally nerfed it.... people lost their shit for a second and then got over it.

I see you left out the change where they fixed the bug where necklace scaled off of TOTAL ad rather then just Bonus ad as intended. You must be a professional cherry picker.

Also i don't care what people say shaco did need some nerfs because there simply was not a way to respond to it, and this is coming from someone who has both played against and with shaco players.

Heck i once played a ranked game as jungle eve with a support shaco, we spent the entire time roaming and killing people instantly, and when they started grouping in pairs of 2-3 we just starting roaming together each picking and killing a different person then turning on the remaining champion that was left. Its probably the only game i have ever played where i felt bad for my opponents, because they could survive my burst and might have been able to fight just me, but with shaco possibly near me at any given time they had one single choice run or likely die.

Now am i saying shaco should be left in the gutter? no, i think they should buff him/make combat clarity changes so they can buff him more if he turns out to be weak after this change.

They butchered AP shaco, which is deceptively over powered in the right hands, and just flat out unfun and much harder to itemize against then rengar.

Also, shaco can stealth frequently, Rengar can only do it once per fight. While they're both assassins, they're very different in power budgets.

Don't forget that rengar had a bug that making his passive increase his total AD instead of bonus AD. His snowballed damage was significantly reduced after that.
