Garen E Armor Shred + Black Cleaver?

How does the math work behind Garen's E armor shred and black cleaver's stacking?

Using 100 armor as a basis, would it reduce an opponent's armor by 55% causing it to become 45, or does it stack for instance... to 70 with black cleaver, then that 70 being reduced by 25% by Garen's E to 52.5?

It is multiplicative, meaning either one can be applied first and you will get the same result. So (1 - 0.3) x (1 - 0.25)=0.7 x 0.75=0.525. So that means your target has 52.5% of their original armor left. This translates to 47.5% armor shred.

I would imagine they stack multiplicative either way you slice it, but beyond that I don't know.

Although I'd be interested in seeing just how much more shred a BC adds against various levels of armor. If BC doesn't end up adding that much, it may not be core on Garen any longer.
