4v5 can be carried if you are good.

3v5 can be carried if you and one of your teammates are good or if you are playing heavy outplay/currently overtuned champs.

Now that DQ is gone, solo/duo should really be fixed on this front. It's hard to abuse LP gains with only 2 people. Flex queue can stay a shit hole though.

You can't queue with friends more than 500 rank above/below you at that level, but they're still matched against a team 1000 rank above them. Seems fair. What's even funnier, if we're thinking of the same game, is that the lower ranked team were all solo queuing but the enemy team were a 6 man premade of professional players.

Yup. It was all solo que players vs a 4 man and a 2 man, but the enemy team all teamed together often.

I stopped playing versus people in HotS a long time ago. The game was at a real low point and matches would end after 10 minute stomps, there was no chance in hell to make any kind of comeback and you basically had won or lost at the loading screen. Quickplay was the worst, no chance to device any kind of strategy, no chance to pick a hero who actually works on that map and no chance to put together a viable team. "Here, we matched you with 4 other melee assassins against a team of 2 assassins, 1 tank and 2 healers. Enjoy the loss!"

From what I can tell, the game allows you to leave if the leaver on your team hasnt reconnected within a minute, but you still get the loss and still get hit with the same SR decrease.

The only change I was aware of for leavers was for the winners - previously, the winning team of a 6v5 would get an "adjusted" SR based on the SR of the remaining 5 players, meaning that if an enemy ragequits in a stomp the winning team would only receive about 1/5 or 1/10 of the SR they would have gotten.

You're the ignorant one. You are a kid, as most people that play this who had no life to get to Diamond+ are between 16-20. So I just look at you and laugh cause you don't know how the world works with the attitude you're giving.

and no, it's still not a problem and never will be. People leave games, people never connect, you lose games, ect. There's no way to fix this. They won't give out free points, or decrease what was lost. It's all controlled by the same system.

In the end, the person that left lost the LP and thus so does the rest of the TEAM as it is a TEAM Game. No way to get around that without it being heavily abused.

Riot already has it in the direction they want it too. A small portion of players, i.e. you want it in a different direction. If it weren't taken seriously competitively we wouldn't have LCS/Worlds.
