Bronze is actually his lowest win rate because as it turns out, playing kog maw or twitch is still infinitely easier than playing darius in low elos. There is no valid reason to not help out darius in masters/challenger/high diamond with very small buffs (mostly reverts on nerfs as opposed to buffing him past his original power).
