The state of mid lane right now.

It feels really bad seeing as the only real way to carry from mid lane is to just roam bot lane over and over to try to get adc fed and to get support closer to . Unfortunately this doesn't really work if you are a farm reliant mid lane or your bot lane already fed. My mid lane style is just farming so I can scale with levels/items, and maybe get a kill or 2 if I outplay my enemy laner. Unfortunately this doesn't work as well anymore because adcs scale way faster and harder than mages, even if the mages have 1-2 level advantage.

When I play mid I play it to roam a lot. I don't think it's as much getting your ADC fed as it is getting the enemy team behind (even if they live they have to b and lose tower.) You can get an ADC fed but if the team doesn't continue to use a lead or if the ADC is stupid then you lose anyways.

If your mid lane style is farming you have to play a champion with relentless pushing like Malzahar and put on so much pressure that the other team can't ignore you and simply roam. They will either send multiple people mid or lose mid turrets.

If you just farm passively without pressuring you aren't effective and you wont win in any meta unless your champ has insane scaling.
