Does CertainlyT really care about his own creations and champions ?

I mean they are most of time banned so you have like 10-20% chances of be allowed to play one...

it will be the same story with akali. After every bronze and silver trash will stop the play her because of the trend effect real players are gonna master her and will be chaotic... She will get banned each game...

So what is the point of creating hyper carry kits if you aren't allowed to play them in competitive games ?

are those champs made for low level or fanboys players and to make money for their skins ?

wouldn't it be better for him to make healthier kits and to manage his characters getting played in ranked games ?

what hapenned with zoé it was she was so powerfull that she was always banned, then she was nerfed to the ground until she was not played a lot anymore.

My guess is that akali will share the same fate. Because those kits are so unhealthy they will require massive nerfs.

Tbh new akali looks much more balanced and seems to have a good bit more counterplay than her old kit which is largely point and click damage and gapclosers.

Yes new akali can pull off some big plays BUT to do so she actually has to hit skillshots and position correctly (to get her circle passive/ to use her new W), I think if her numbers arent overbuffed she'll actually be relatively balanced once people start to learn how to use her kit (although i think her winrate will probably be trash on release and i hope they don't overbuff her).

you'll see how you are gonna enjoy playing against a player that mastered her. Many have stated after trying her that she is way more powerfull than before it requires more skill but when mastered it is broken af...

First off, no one has "mastered" her yet, and no one has mastered playing against her yet either, so we have to give time for that to happen.

Second off, even if she is super strong when mastered there is still WAY more counterplay against a good player than against someone whose good w/ current akali. Q E and R are now dodgeable her passive damage is more predictable, and R isn't spammable (to follow flashes/dashes) anymore.

Have you even played on the PBE to play as/against her? because if not you are just repeating the opinions of others, which may very well be heavily biased.

I don't see Thresh banned same for Zyra Whenever Kalista is broken she also isn't banned, look at before 8.4 I also don't see warwick banned

only Yasuo Darius Zoe has 20% ban rate, it's not that bad there are champions with higher ban rate

Thresh didn't have to wait to be nerfed into uselessness, better options got released. Don't pretend like thresh wasn't cripplingly over centralizing to the game at one point. Zyra is not his to claim anymore. She was reworked and can barely be called a certainlyT champion anymore. Not to mention, the original iteration was overseen by two other designers alongside him to begin with. Warwick is not a certainlyT champion. They told him not to change what is core to Warwick, only update what he is already about. As you can see, when CertainlyT has a tight leash around his throat when working on champions, he can create positive additions to the game. Zoe is useless outside of pro play and high elo.

Designs that are purely his drive this game closer and closer to the brink of death every time. They always break a certain design rule Riot has, and once it's broken, Riot doesn't feel bad about breaking it again. That's why you see so many things they do today that they wouldn't dream of doing years ago. You and others might think certainlyT's designs are cool, and you're entitled to your opinion on that. But I can't like him or his champions no matter how hard I try.

Dude. Stop. He's just a dude trying to bring his work into life. Whether it's popularized or not. Just because he invented Yasuo it doesn't mesn you should stalk him for his mistakes for the rest of his and your life. Who is the most PLAYED champion? Yasuo, whether the majority hates him or not, the majority is also the one that loves playing him. So what if Zoenwas released? She's in a fine state in which she is neither broken or bad. So what if Akali was reworked? She deserved it just like all oldest champions do. And what is so wrong to remake yma champion, he made, his baby, to see her sweet Akali grow up into a 19 puberty stroke angsty teenager who still has a lot to learn besides from just assasinating anyone who stands in her way? Yeah, nothing. And I am actually a fond of her rework, and might even consider maining her. So no, leave him be, let him create what he would want for his characters, what community also partly wanted.

As far as Zoe goes, i dunno why we are sitting her and pretending that she is just impossible to work with or CertainlyT was the only designer that had this problem.

Look at Ekko for example:

Look specifically at his patch history, he has gone through more drastic changes in 1 season then Zoe has and eventually reached a point where people are no longer complaining about her.

However the biggest point of me linking this example is that its not a CertainlyT exclusive thing.
