For me its mostly about each player having direct control over the impact of themselves and their team based on their actions and playing mentality. The chaos of Solo Queue was part of the art in it. If you were able to bring the other players together, more often than not, you won.
We've seen from many LCS teams that it doesn't take skilled players to beat teams if your communication is good. We've also seen that amazing players don't automatically make the best teams.
Non-5v5 ranked, to me, has always been about individual skill based on how you work around laning phase, map awareness, support, and if you're a laner, your mechanics/knowledge of match-ups.
Its not that I hate Dynamic Queue, its just that I want a Solo Queue because people around the same MMR are there a large majority of the time due to the balance of their strengths and weaknesses as a player, and paying attention to those and working around them helped you to develop as a player. With Dynamic Queue, it can be impossible to know the average strength of a player because another is often carrying them.
Favoritism on your pre-made's side as well as better communication from the other pre-mades' side, but not necessarily at the same time, create a lot of walls as far as how educational a game can be as a solo player too.
I've had my fair share of good experiences with pre-mades. Pre-mades are not my issue. Its the consistency that's my issue. Currently, teams are balanced around individual MMR with basically no account for their communication, which is one of the biggest factors in LoL now. Both teams might have a premade 3 or 4, but whichever one has better communication basically wins. That takes a lot away from this game and often makes it as boring as watching LCS currently is.
