Like don't you get it? Last whisper is nerfed to hell and only thing the enemy has to do is to wear thornmails and your whole team needs to suffer for your pick. This is proven from Zed and Rivens poor winrate and needs to be known.
You need a Ap midlaner in this patch. Even how much money it costs to buy a rabadon.

What is not fine, is picking an ad mid with no waveclear, after your top and jungle have both locked in an ad champ. if you have an ad mid, you really do need an ap top like Rumble or ryze, or a jungle diana or elise. someone that can compensate for your lack of ability power..

It is a dead item. Really it explains why khazix, riven and zed who buys these items as a core fell to urgot-class winrates.
I appreciate your idea though. Elise is a very nice pick which provides infinity potential

For assassins, Last Whisper is no longer the generally efficient damage item (when it is supposed to be a counter-item).
Not that that is necessarily a bad thing. In fact, now the item is finally working as intended.
