Question about ranked borders season reward.

The season ends Nov 7th. I just dropped back to Bronze after a series of terrible games. I was told by someone that the rewards are based on the highest rank you achieved duiring the season and that I will still get the Silver border but I'm not sure. Do I have to be in Silver by Nov 7th to get the reward ?

Yeah you have to be Silver to get the Silver border. It goes by what rank you are when the season ends.
