Focusing Too Much on 5V5?

So when talking about the current state of the game, a lot of people will say that it's not as great because of Dynamic Queue, toxicity, etc. League of Legends is a great game, and what makes it so great is it's competitiveness. However I think that's also becoming the bane of League of Legends as well. When talking about a game that has 20+ million players daily and has been going on for 6 seasons , do you think that Riot putting too much of a focus in just 1 game mode (5v5) is hurting them a bit? If you think about it, it's not uncommon for a player to have played hundreds of 5v5 games played. And after those hundreds of games played, it's not too hard to think that the 5v5 game (to players) is more about winning, than having fun.

This is really just a small rant and thought I had, that I wanted to bring to the boards. What do you guys think?
