Syndra has been nerfed a lot in the last months, so a nerf as small as the one she has just got couldn't enrage the community. The real issue that I see is with assasins being too strong. Also Yasuo. It's quite funny that you only talked about Syndra, since Orianna got nerfed as well, and Ori is stronger than Syndra. I feel like you just hate Syndra~ The issue isn't that "we aren't pressing R hard enough", the issue is that you haven't heard about a thing called "magic resist" <3 Plus she isn't the only champion with an ultimate that can execute you. For example: -Veigar: A point-and-click ultimate, similar to Syndra's, but WAY more powerful. -Lux: After buying two items, prepare to erase champions. -Orianna: Her ulti actually takes a huge part of your HP. -Ziggs: Huge AoE damage that has pentakill potential -Karthus: If you can get over the huge cooldown, but offensive items and do a pentakill. -Annie: Do I even need to? -Ekko

There are even other roles that have ultimates that can kill you in an instant.

ADCs -Miss Fortune -Jinx -Lucian

And let's not forget Yasuo~

The funny thing is, the very fact these champs are designed to Burst, means that their ideal targets are the glass cannons. ADC's legit, cannot itemized defensively, except for maybe a few niche items like Phantom Dancer or Death's Dance.

Then again, nerfing mages because ADC's have almost no means to defend against them. Might explain why a hand full of ADC's are taking over mid lane. (Hey Lucian)
