Should I get Renekton, Nautilus or someone else????

I main I am learning to secondary main I am also good with I also play these just for fun

I am looking for a top laner that will be powerful in lane, able to fight on the front line, and able to carry (atleast to a decent extent). I am looking for someone who has rather impact-ful abilities, and some cc, engage, or other form of complexity. No one super difficult as I don't play top much, but also not someone super simple. I am thinking that are too immobile and lacking complexity for my taste.

I like how Renekton is a beast and has cc and a double dash, as well as how he seems learn-able but has a high skill cap. (Every time I see him, he's extremely intimidating and I also like his design)

I also like Nautilus's engage and pretty much permanent cc that allows him to go tank supp.

I wouldn't get Renekton until Fervor gets its slight buff in two patches or so. I think Nautilus is pretty darn fun right now or at least until CoC gets nerfed.

I mean Renekton is definetly the way to go for a strong laner, and he **can ** carry, but you want to end before Renekton starts falling off. He kinda just becomes a stunbot/meatwall later on.

Nautilus is a decently strong laner. He's scary when snowballing, and brings a massive amount of CC to the table, but doesn't ''carry'' the way a Renekton would. He doesn't fall off as hard as Renekton though.

Yorick and Illaoi are not really fitting your criteria, but Darius can function quite well in teamfights, and a good Darius can be a huge pain to deal with :P

Kennen is ~~a massive pain in the ass~~ a Super strong laner who really wins teamfights on his own, you might want to consider his obnoxious ass :P

Is Renekton a safer pick then Kennen? and the Crock Beast carries harder right?

Picking Renekton is always kind of a risk; he needs to win the laningphase to be relevant, but is a monstrosity to deal with when he's ahead. A jungler should be scared to 2v1 a fed Renekton. He will easily 100-0 a squishy target with his spell rotation, but then again, you want to finish the game ASAP, because he really doesn't scale at all :P

Kennen is really hard to deal with for any melee toplaner, and Kennen Butchers teamfights. He's the kind of champion who's teamfight presence will have to be respected, ahead or behind.

It really just comes down to the situation, they're both strong at their own things, but Kennen is probably the stronger champion overall rn.

You make it seem like you like Renekton, if he seems fun to you, just go for the croc :P I would definetly recommend Fun > FOTM tbh.

What makes him not scale at all? His stats don't increase enough with level? Or is it that he doesn't bring much to teamfights and his damage can simply be dealt with late game?

Yeah if he builds full damage he just dies instantly, and if he goes tanky he doesn't really hurt anymore :P
