Let's Talk Stats w/ a PSA to Gameplay
Statistics is often times Gameplay's biggest enemy, as it refutes people's flawed beliefs.
Draven: 53% win-rate, 9.2% play rate, 31% ban-rate
Tristana: 51.5% win-rate, 34% play-rate, 24% ban-rate
Twitch: 52% win-rate, 20% pick-rate, 33.5% ban-rate
Janna: 57% win-rate, 24% pick-rate, 58% ban-rate
You replace some of these names with Zed, Yasuo, Riven, Lee etc the boards would be plastered with complaints. It goes both ways though:
Caitlyn: 45% win-rate, 11% play-rate, 9% ban-rate
Syndra: 47% win-rate, 7.4% play-rate, 7.4% ban-rate
Leblanc: 47.6% win-rate, 4.5% play-rate, 10.3% ban-rate
Rengar (my poor kitty): 48% win-rate, 3.3% play-rate, 0.8% ban-rate
**Some of the most hated champions are actually quite under-powered atm. **
It requires maturity to recognize the difference between a perceived toxic kit and a strong kit, a maturity that honestly many of us lack. So please stop with the whole "I hate this champion therefor they must be OP!!!" logic. It's flawed, immature, and repetitive. If you wish to debate a champions power level, do not bring up their kit. If you talk about one's kit you are talking about their toxicity, or the enjoyment that comes from their gameplay, not their actual strength in a game. The only time it would be relevant to bring up a champion's kit instead of their stats is if you were addressing a way to adjust their power-level.
*Notice: All stats were taken from leagueofgraphs.com from Plat+ rankings
... BOTH jungle kitties are the last few spots in most elos.
