Nope, nope, nope. Now I remember the last Tank META.
And how toxic and stagnant it became. It basically sucked ALL of the strength and fun out of carry roles.

Oh geez the HUMANITY of it all!$! stop the presses immediately and phone the president ONE member on their team has approximately 20% more health than they did a couple patches ago
whatever the fuck will we do
better then the assassin meta that lasted all of season 4
The people that whine about the current "Tank meta" must have not played during the last one. The last time people were screaming tank meta it was an actual tank meta where the more tanks you had the better your team performed. Multiple times my team went 5 tanks or 5 tanks one adc and we rolled straight over the enemy teams.
This is just tanks being tanks again.
I don't play tanks, but I like the tank meta. A lot more champions feel viable now, and I find it far more fun than seeing Lee Sin in every single game.
...speaking of which, there was no Lee Sin at MSI. Better buff him.
Carries now have to work harder yes but its still fun.
We hated the carries first. We cried for any top lane carry to get nerfed because they would out duel anyone. (jax, Irelia) And when that happened, Sion and Maokai took their place.
I'm not even sure how tank the tank meta is right now. Considering A) Sion and Maokai got toned down not too long after the introduction of cinder hulk. and b) because we have actual tanks in the Jungle, the Top lane is now free to go back to carrys again. (looking at you Hecarim) not to mention that their are some later game champs that have a better time without the burst damage, (vlad)
As annoying at it can be at times, it's probably one of the freshest things to happen.
Where is a Lex Luthor "WRONG" giff when you need one.
The reason those are called carries is that they are supposed to suck until the game is drawn out pass 20-30 min mark, which before that happens they were supposed to be protected by their team or they get dive blown up by tanks, bruisers and assassins.
Carries were also never meant to be all that fun in the first place, you farm, get protected, poke here and there then wait for late game where you kill anything and everything with just right clicks.
I loved last tank meta, even playing adc. I didn't have to worry about vayne 3 shotting me and full healing from old bloodthirster as well as not getting 2 shotted by every mid laner alive.
God forbid carries aren't the MVP of the game every single time.

They still are, as especially adcs, what kills tanks in a few seconds and are still necessary to quickly take objectives necessary to win the game. A lot of tanks are non-damage threats and rely on any damage source to win games, and other than someone like Nasus, they can't take a single tower in under 1 hour by themselves and aren't Shen to be able to slowly push while using R into fights.
I remember the last tank meta. The only time it's a problem here is when the team takes too many Cinderhulks
