Hey, I applied about a year or so ago and haven't heard anything about it since. Do I need to do anything else or just keep waiting on the off chance I'm allowed to have a PBE account?

just think about it. PBE is for balancing and bugs. To be on the balance team at riot you need to be minimum plat + so they take those players quicker than the hundred of thousands of lower rank players.
It's suppose to be a serious testing enviorment. Not For fun.
Slythion1 votesThe problem is that I know a few bronze/silver players with PBE accounts. Not saying your wrong, I just wish I was among them lol I would test seriously too, I wouldn't screw around if I got the privilege of playing on PBE ;n;

They add people periodically when they need more people to test something (last time was the preseason update. I imagine they will do so again with the MYMU). Just keep up good behavior in game (players with positive behavior records get higher priority) and wait.
