Hey, I just rode that you were explorating some buff way for taliyah. (http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/fr/c/gameplay-balance/2ewKtkjL-taliyah-needs-a-super-buff-already?comment=0005 )

I would offer some ideas

  • On the pbe (and live now) players have often this feeling: it's punishing to land Q on a ground worked , or she feel weak in damage wise etc. Rioter Danizklein often said that she wasn't that weak and she had the tool for make her place on the SR.

The thing is that she's not weak at all indeed, people didn't noticed how play her yet. She's not weak, but the gameplay pattern she have, isn't impactful, neither flashy enough for being "strong"(ultimate aside). Add to that her high skill to master, and you obtain her current winrate. She don't need big buff which can make her overtuned, i think some tweak and QoL buff would be enough.

My ideas are turned on Q or E:

  • About Q, the feeling is when you land your rock on worked ground, it feels like a waste of mana, time, and damage. Sure you could buff Q first damage, and reduce other for having the same total damage as now, but i believe it's not what she need. An interesting buff would be reduce the CD of Q when you use it on worked ground (it can be when you kill a unity, when you hit a champion, or just when you use it on the worked ground, for the time you want, by 25% for example or 50% etc, it would allow her to kite better, rewarding a good use of the Q, and feel more a treat on lane or siege)
  • About E, it's simple, he's really good as it is currently, the main problem is that we have not any control on it, beside use W for knock into them some people. My idea is allow her to explode the boulders after some times (it can be dependant to rank, or the %CDR, or a flat duration, like after 2 or 3s)

Those ideas shouldn't put her in a way too strong, and wouldn't change her pattern play at all.
