[PBE] Azir nerfs @Meddler

Azir Arise (W) [NOTE: Tower damage bits removed from tooltip but seems to still function in-game at the moment.] Emperor's Divide (R): Wall duration lowered to 2 seconds from 5/6/7 No longer grants 20% movement speed for 1 second when passing through wall for Azir and Allies Stinger Total Price reduced to 1100 from 1200 Attack speed lowered to 35% from 50% Now Builds into Trinity Force.

So, like every azir main who knows that he was picked too much on competitive, what i feared has became reality, hammer nerf was launched. You decided to nerf hard his utility and one of his item

I understand the scheme for that. He's too much useful on teamfight and more that on competitive, he fit easily team composition too. I don't agree at all with this philosophy (Azir in overall, competitive aside, will fall harder again), but i understand it,

In fact my question is quite simple, since the R is nerfed, can we expect as a compensation a buff to the CD at least? It wouldn't broke or change the competitive side of Azir, and would help soloQ-er (or dynamic Q-er) normal Azir players...

Screw riot, no screw faker for winning with him, my main will basically not have an ult now :(

From 5-7 seconds to just 2 is absolutely ludicrous. I'd get if the mobility effect was nerfed or if it became a 5 second duration but just 2 seconds on the wall? Friendly reminder that This is an Ultimate on a one minute cooldown at most.

Keep in mind that the PBE is used for testing so that developers can see how changes affect a champion's kit.

They've said numerous times that initial kit changes they do are drastic so they can have a good lever on how badly a change has on the kit, (e.g. if 2 second up time on wall breaks Azir, and 5 - 7 seconds is too oppressive, where is the happy medium?). This is called a boundary test in the industry so they can determine a working range to make the correct change.

Please continue to make your opinion about the changes known, but don't think that this is the end state and that it will ship tomorrow. We have two weeks of testing before anything ships. Most likely we'll see this 2 second value adjusted to something along the lines of 4 seconds at all ranks, or 3/4/5 seconds wall up time with no speed up.
