[Theory] Jax and the Darkin
So far, we got the revelation about a new champion, kayn, accompanied by a Darkin. We learn through the special interaction that he consider varus as from them. So far we know that
Aatrox is a darkin, we can suppose that he is a previous host who got completly infested by the darkin in the sword. Or he accepted it completly. Kayn on the other side, want to possess it and master the weapon and the living in it (darkin aren't weapons but being living in weapons).
Now my idea is, about Jax
We know that jax have a mysterious past, he's from icathia, and is bound to fight the void. He's a grandmaster, doesn't seems human (3 fingers) neither possess real weapon. Kayn says basicly to the darkin that he's the weapon and the reaper, a tool. Varus is an other case, since he was willing for the sake of revenge, sacrifice everything, i feel that his case is a bit more like a symbiosis, until that his objective is realized, he'll not lost his memories and his awareness (he want to strike only "guilty" people), after, "No turning back"
Now jax? He have no real weapon, he's a warrior, without any faction behind him, he strive to fight, he's a master without any weapon, he's bound to fight the void and not human.
So i wonder what if contrary to Aatrox and the body, Jax is a warrior who wielded a Darkin, and won over it? It would explain in the case of he was a human of Icathia, that he got transformed, but remained himself. It would also explain that he doesn't need any weapon: He's the weapon.
That's just my thought on a good 2:20 A.M.
What do you think people?
