So tank Ekko's kinda spiraling out of control

I see Ekko in roughly 30% of my matches now, and this new Iceborn build is insane. Deals damage, crowd control, and unbearable mobility. I'm surprised they repeaedly buffed someone who already has as much utility as he does.

They nerfed his base damages and increased his scaling to encourage him to build damage instead of tank in order to assassinate people. I'm not sure what why how but it seems the success for assassins going full tank is a little high.

Akali succeeds at it because she's insanely sticky (thank you R).
Yi does it by abusing on hits with Devourer (strong) and Rageblade (also strong) with the bruiser damage items (steraks [not as efficient now with his Wuju changes], maw, deadmans, etc). Ekko seems to do well because his kit contains multiple (soft and hard) CC while doing decent damage with a invulnerability, heal, AoE damage (this part is harder to pull off), and juke ultimate.

LeBlanc and Ahri are the only assassins that I haven't seen do this full tank thing yet. Probably because they're not Energy based like Akali, but still an AP assassin which don't have the item choices that AD assassins do.

Its undying lol... + Gauntlet which does 125% base attack, if you buy steraks... it increases gauntlets dmg... which you can hit with undying and a full 3 passive proc and its over..

GL with the thread. made one myself... and didn't go too well. But it isn't the fact he is strong, it's the fact he is a mini TahmKench wth how you can melt him and he ults away and you have to do it all again...., with the mobility of an assassin and the cc of a baby Nautilus . Had a game where all he had to do was stun under turret and ult out and it was gg, because lux E is the size of his stun zone..... and ult... and that is only 2 champs. But it is true he is useless early, but late he just doesn't die because he technically has 2 healthbars thanks to his ult...
