I feel like lethality is too dominant in this meta

I feel like the 2900g for item 3142 and item 3147 is way too cheap for the snowballing effect. I think this primarily is in the problem of the laning phase. Lets take Zed for example. He will start item 1036 which means he only needs 750g to get item 3134 which I feel offers a opressive power spike in lane. Even if the assassin is behind in lane, the serrated dirk offers a huge stat boost instantly and the assassin can fight again. Combined with the fact that 2900g for item 3142 and item 3147 is very cheap compared to AP itemization and ADC itemization.

On a side note, item 3147 seems to be an overloaded item. I think it needs to be reworked in what it offers because it is severly advantageous to purchasing this item over item 3142 and item 3814

I am not saying any champions are overpowered, but I think the state of lethality is what is defining games currently. It is very easy to abuse, so I believe a change needs to be made.

There's some nerfs coming I believe.

So what do you suggest besides removing all ad champions who buy lethality?

I don't think you read my post correctly.

you are saying that lethality is broken, then what do you want to be done about it?

Bring the cost in line with other itemization in the game and adjust values to avoid oppressive power spikes during laning phase.

lategame lethality power spikes hmm, yeah I guess assassins need to be useful after everyone has bought ninja tabi, zhonya's and GA, might as well remove them from the game, since everyone will be dodging when they have an assassin on their team to avoid the -19

I know this doesn't really have to do with your post much but being honest but really its more about the entire meta being based around heavy poke comps more than anything. How this does tie into your post is how many poke based ADC can really abuse lethality itemisation over crit for example, there are some nerfs on the pbe to lethality itemisation which i made a lengthy post on but it probably wouldn't solve the issue too much. if you wanna take a look at that post and then have a discussion with me on more of an itemization and item pricing point of view, i would gladly discuss that with you if you so wish. As for the zed issue, all i have to say is GIT GUD KIDDO... alright all jokes aside from all the zed games I've analyzed from people having an issue with him, its not really the itemization which the issue with him, but more about how people play against him and how they allow him to spike in lane like this, but again as i said i could make an entire post on zed per se. regardless of that you do bring up a valid point on his itemization path but i wont discuss that here unless you would like me to

here is a link to the post i made and maybe this can help break things down a little bit for ya

Armor exists if you think lethality is too strong. Everyone gets boots so just get tabi. Against a lethality stacker you can get either a GA or Zhonya with ninja tabi and completely counter their armor pen and then some.
