Current state of Diana in season 7

While the whole game seems grossly un-balanced right now and there are other more pressing issues than Diana, I would like to point out that my personal win rate with Diana after the E (Moonfall) change has fallen from 57% in platinum to 48% in platinum. While many non-Diana players would argue that this change was a buff, I argue that it was a straight out nerf.

Increasing the pull of her E did two things. First squishy targets are now more likely to flash (good), Second is the biggest nerf I have ever seen in this entire game on such a useless ability. Diana used to be able to kite champions using her E to slow them down before they could get her. Now she pulls them RIGHT ON TOP OF HER. This was Diana's only means for escape and it got brutally nerfed. Now there is no way you can escape. You know how sick I am of using moonfall on Garen after he has uses his Q and rather than escaping him like I used to instead he is automatically on top of me.

Bascially Im saying that Moonfall is an entirely useless ability. The only one champion it is good against is Fiddlesticks or Nunu who are also complete garbage right now.

I shouldnt drop 9% win rating over a nerf and I shouldnt be below 50% win rate ON MY MAIN.

Im not asking to buff her through the roof and I dont want more burst damage. Maybe tack some kind of passive onto Dianas E. Dont leave her dumpstered please.

i'm sure 23 games on Diana are an accurate statistic to draw conclusions from....

But how many have you played with the nerf

over 100 the nerf was back in the middle of season 6

O I don't even remember I never play her myself she doesn't fit my playsystle but I just don't see how it hurts a diver

exactly because you dont play her. Basically Diana dives in right now she either gets a kill or dies. Theres no real in between unless you flash. I want to increase her consistant damage and lower her burst

The issue here aren't the changes but your play style. Maybe try and adapt a new play style the fits the changes and your win rate may possibly increase ^^

Diana is a considered a diver. Although she isnt, shes played like an assassin without any escape. Look at how outdated her kit is. I understand that she "works" But shes not doing what shes supposed to be doing. Thats the ultimate problem.

this build is better than item 3285 item 3100 item 3001 item 3135 item 3089 item 3020

this build item 3027 item 3115 item 3100 item 3001 item 3157 item 3020

To be honest I personally dont like the rod of ages build. Just not my thing, although the mana sustain is a problem with diana at the moment, especially with how strong midlaners are at the moment (Passive farming with q and all that). However I do feel that nashors tooth is quite essential on her at the moment, its the best tool for her to use for kiting. Whilst on that point, there is no ultimate build for diana either... She is such a diverse champ due to her range of abilities and her unique way of fighting that you should be look more towards a situational build more than anything else.

I for one believe that there are minor issues with her 'e', for one its utility doesnt match up with its mana cost and cd length. SO perhaps this is something that can be looked at. In saying that, I adjusted my useage of it as a way to start a fight in lane. Its incredibly powerful Pre-six, simply because most midlaners are brave against a diana without ult. If you use her e correctly, you can pull an unsuspecting midlaner into you and deal a crap tonne of damage with her w and q, and her passive if you plan correctly.

Im a Diana main, with quite a few games under my belt so I understand the feels bro bro.

You don't know how to play her correctly

Of course I do. The current "Meta" Diana makes no use of her passive.

actually, i recommend you try a bruiser diana top build, generally roa/nashors into tank, it'll give you a better understanding of why she's played the way she is right now. Diana needs more early power to be able to be a fighter as originally intended, but riot cannot find a way to buff her base damages or abilities at all without making her an absolute monster of an assassin at the same time. i personally agree though, she's in a pretty poor place right now and i think moonfall is the only thing they could change without ruining the iconic kit we've come to love. just not sure how they'll do it

They could give it an effect Cast like dot or a increase in resistance because your e on a 5 man stack and then getting killed even the your whole team is there with the follow up is annoying

Diana is fine there are several challenger players that 1-trick her.
