i wish one of them would actually stick.

why is it, that he can get a pretty decent buff, but he still just seems to keep declining?

I think it's because Garen's counters keep getting stronger, and because his items keep getting worse. All of the Juggernaut items, which were op don't get me wrong, have been nerfed.

The mage update nerfed his MR items and buffed a lot of mages. This did a few things. First items like Rylai's made everyone slow him. Second it made sure that there was always a diversity of damage out there making it more difficult for him to itemize against it.

Garen has a ton of flaws in his kit and his strengths haven't kept up with his weaknesses.

not really a lot you can do with garen's current kit

sure, it'll make his stats better, but he still has no answer to the many things that are capable of completely shutting him down

the armor shred was nice but it's ultimately redundant considering Cleaver is already core and it was lifted straight from Darius

kinda yea. all thats left is hoping the tank update throws juggs a bone aswell. as far as masteries and itemization go.

still wish theyd have gone with giving him in combat sustain.
