For how long is Riot going to ignore this? How many times we have to die or lose kills or waste mana because the plants rarely prioritize right?

Let them go through each champion, they are releasing 2 reworks next patch for gods sake, just let time pass, Zyra is hardly a priority in comparison to other champions that flat out don't work at all.

They were actually as they should, they programmed the damn things.

Zyra needs changes, no one denies this, going as far as saying something stupid like "last call" or demanding changes is even stupider.

She is very low on the list of champions that need help sooner, she still functions and works in the current meta with or without good plant AI.

That doesn't show anything, they have a big pirate event coming up that they are working hard at, they wanted the piratey champions ready for it.

No one from Riot every said she wasn't lined up for changes in the future, OP just feels entitled.

Zyra support is still popular, It's not like she is Poppy or Yorick level problems.

Main problem is that when the enemy champion leaves the radius, the plants decide to smack the minions until they die.

It feels kind of weird, the plants are obsessed with pushing your lane considering a 6 year old with fire coming out of her hands is beating on them, but they still insist to kill the minions instead. It's nice that your plants are really strong for farming, but that's not what they're made to do necessarily.

Outside the suddenly changing targets (possible bug) it's working as intended.

If you land an auto attack on a champion/target, the plants will prioritize them. Fair trade off since you have to put yourself at risk to Auto, but if you land the AA, you deal more damage. otherwise, fire+forget plants would be very strong.

Don't forget Zyra gives up a spell for her plants. You don't see other adds with AI this bad, and one of the biggest problems with plant AI is when they do nothing if you've marked a minion outside their attack range. I'm fine with them selecting another target within range, but they need to be better about determining what that range is and picking something they can actually attack.

Her plant range is indeed borked up. I see champions constantly at the edge of the circle that don't get hit even with no other targets around.

Yea I agree with "PHIFE" about the plants prioritizing just fine. But you must attack a champion for them to focus that champion. Otherwise the plants attack the nearest threat. You just need to know when to auto and when not to. Practice makes perfect though!

It's not the prioritization, it's the target selection. I'm fine with having to mark the enemy champion for my plant to attack them, but even with this, plants often just don't attack or react too slowly once a target enters attack range.

It's already pretty retarded that these things prioritize champions. They're technically on the top of the list in terms of targeted abilities with the longest range.

I enjoy playing Zyra more than any other mid and I'm really afraid that she'll need nerfs if they "fix" her, so pls, leave her be?

People taking too seriously the "last call" part and missing entirely the point of this thread. smh But as people said before me, it doesn't matter if other champions are a priority. If something is not working as intended, and especially something that is the main theme and playstyle of an entire champion, then it should be fixed asap.

And why shouldn't zyra be a priority? Has she not been garbage(yes,that's right: garbage) for long enough? Do we need to rework soraka again? Perhaps ahri needs some more compensation?

I mean not that fixing her plant ai(I mean their tendency to afk,or lose aggro without the target leaving range) would solve her issues,but that's not the point.

I think the issue people are having with your post is that her plants sort of are working as intended. I main Zyra, and haven't encountered any issues with priority at any point. Are you asking for plants to prioritize champions in range? That would be crazy OP in lane. You haven't really described what you think the issue is with her prioritization.

"You main Zyra"? Good to see that she isn't in even the top5 of your most played Champions. Every person here saying "I main Zyra and I don't see the problem" happens to actually be not a Zyra main. Not surprising at all.

Given that I've played 40 games of ranked this season, and don't blind pick her, I think that's a pretty shitty representation of my main. She's the only champ I have at level 5 mastery, and she's always been one of my most played champs, in normals and ranked. But ignorance is bliss, I suppose. Keep blaming her mechanics for your failures. I hear that gets people far.

As a Zyra player myself I don't see this as a huge problem. Sure I've missed kills but what is gonna happen, they are either gonna recall and you push the lane further or they come back and you plant another turret and kill them. Zyra is fine as she is, and so is her turrets.
