Is it even happening?

I've heard it so many times that "Gangplank is one of those champs that if we buff him even a little he would dominate the game." What that means is, "if we buff Gangplank he might become viable and a champ like him doesn't fit our current vision for the game."

Come on!

Even if you guys don't want to rework him, just give him a buff. He needs armor, health, and some kind of cc. The changed ult was not really a buff or a nerf, it was a push. While it's nice that the ult is no longer random, removing the slow, keeping damage based on AP instead of AD still keeps it weak. One step forward, and one step back. Why keep Gangplank weak when the power creep is so very real. He might have been a monster several seasons ago before the GP nerf fest, but with every game change you guys push him further from being anything but a joke.

Do something please.

I hope it's not happening. GPs in a good spot for a melee champ even after they fucked with his ult to make it more "reliable." And they never removed the slow. It's a 25% slow at all ranks of his ult - they only reduced the refresh rate of the slow (which I don't know why they would do that...) Parrrley also applies a slow.

i love GP the way he is get cced? eat an orange being poked? eat an orange jungler gives you blue for some fking reason? ur fking god now

his ult is literally a global, point click, CC yeeep.. pick up easy assists, maybe kill someone, sllow someone so ur team can get them, save team mates by slowing pursuers... I love his crappy ult

his gun does tons of damage, I just have to shoot them once to make them realize they wont win this fight

only his passive and attack speed buff(?) I find particularly lackluster :c

Gangplank is completely viable still, just don't get trapped in thinking you have to go crit-plank. Tanky on-hit plank is more effective and better for your team as a whole anyway.

I'm not saying I don't have some success with the pirate. He's my main, and I like to play him. What I am saying that in a lot of match ups he is outclassed because of his lack of slows, stuns, leap-ins, leap-outs, knock ups, un-targetable attacks, highly damaging combos, ... you get the idea. Most of his damage comes from parrley (which is an awesome attack) but it lacks range compared to every other ranged attack in the game. The game has shifted to favoring mobility, but he has no gap closer, which means a lot of the time you get one shot with parrley and then have to break off the attack because all you can do after that is chase and get shot in the face.

Why no have Parrley have a double cooldown, one to shoot, and one to fire a chainshot (stun) if parrley hasn't been used in a while.

Oranges are perfect.

Change raise moral to something more useful like this: GPs ship doesn't have to be a normal ship. Why not an airship. He signals his ship, a rope lowers, and he is moved to a spot on the map. His ult is global, why not make him as well. The new champ already has something like this, so this isn't too far fetched.

Make the cannons scale off of AD and be front heavy on the damage with each blast causing less damage.

It would be nice if they added a bit of armor, too.
