My Thoughts on the new Draft Pick
I'm almost certain I'm not alone when I say that I'm exponentially better at one position than any of the others. For me, that happens to be Jungle. I've been maining Jungle since I started playing, and I only play lane when I'm forced into it.
I suck at CSing, I suck at harassing, I suck at managing my mana (#firstblueeverytime), and I can't secure kills in lane because I'm used to having the element of surprise.
The easiest position in lane for me to take is support, because I don't have to worry about CS or kills. I'm still bad, don't get me wrong... but it's the one lane position I can "only slightly feed" in.
As you might guess, my primary role is Jungle and my secondary is Support. So far, I've played one game in the new Draft Pick, but I've accepted probably 20 matches. (Dodges, DCs, whatever. Not by me though)
Not a single time have I gotten Jungle.
Now I understand the "pick two" thing helps to shorten queue times, but I honestly may not play ranked purely because I'll get flamed for blowing ass at support every game.
I think it should be up to the player. Pick two roles for a shorter queue, or pick one for a longer queue. No sense in forcing us "one-trick ponies" into a role we suck at just because the queue will be a minute or two shorter.
That's my take, but again, maybe it's just me that sucks at everything.
