0.93% crit chance

I see some pro players take full dmg runes on Evelynn, but then I also see 0.96% crit chance. What's the theory behind this? Why would you want that crit chance?

Getting 1 Lucky crit makes clears faster, or getting a crit in a gank makes for an easier kill.

I take 1 crit chance mark on thresh, over 400k mastery points, it's gotten me a single kill. worth for those hella nice leashes on gromp tho. That 93 dmg hurts that frog.

It provides a minuscule chance of turning a fight around in your favor.

You don't really lose any damage but a luck crit during a gank can net you a kill.

Because without crit chance (even 1%) I can't crit. I don't know if it actually works this way but it makes sense to me that 0% crit chance means no crits ever and 1% crit chance opens things up.

This is why some people take it because every now and then you can get away with shit like this I personally don't because it is so fucking cheesy.

Because a single crit can decide early fights and you aren't losing much by losing like 0.9 AD or whatever, but lose the ability to crit in general when you don't take that 1% crit chance rune.

Because that crit during your first clear can help you out a ton.

It trades a tiny bit of consistency for an occasional random crit that can make all the difference in early jungling/ganking.
