whats the point in favourite champ list and preset runepages?

if you set a favourite champ list they should appear first everygame, instead we have to click the list and then it resets which is irritating and pointless. also whats the point in having preset runepages when we cant change it? we have to fuck around changing our 3-4 runepages everygame to our preference. why not just make 20 runepages free?

Ignoring title, in order:

I agree
The reason why it exists is so that players weren't totally screwed over when the Rune System was reworked. The reason why we keep it is because you're not always going to have time to change that rune page on the fly. If I'm last pick and I have to counterpick on the fly, I could scramble to figure out a convenient runepage for this champion I wasn't initially planning on, or I could pick one of these prebuilt ones and hope for the best.
This is how F2P is supposed to work. Pay for convenience or cosmetics, in this case the convenience of more Rune Pages.
