So why did Jax and Nocturne get buffed again?
No one asked for this, and they absolutely did not need these buffs. If anything Jax should've been nerfed.

Because. Bruiser mains are the majority and no matter how strong, and no matter how hard they are fucking EVERY other class into the ground, they will ALWAYS be crying that they are weak.
No bruiser/fighter main asked for Jax buffs. I can tell you that.
Technically I did but The Only buff Jax needs Is Hp per level (and maybe hp5 Mp5 and mana pool) So he doesnt instadie through his Ult activated and E activated in team fights
He needs not a damn thing until SoS is removed.
I dont Mind SoS nerfed or removed . they should try to lower it to 8%.
Haha yes because every top lane main really wanted this atrocity buffed.
Its funny you say this when ADCs cried so fucking hard because other roles were introduced to bot lane. You guys were so pissed that you weren't the sole win condition anymore. It was hilarious.

Because adcs are only allowed to be played in bot lane. Any time we leave botlane we get gutted into the dirt. Examples Ezreal mid Ezreal jungle Kog mid Varus mid Vayne top Lucien mid Lucien top Kai’sa jungle Miss fortune support Twitch jungle
So yeah. When they are only allowed to be played in one role of course they are gonna be pissed when others become better in that role than they are.
well, that kind of has to do with the history of marksmen. If a carry can replace an initiator, it creates a serious power imbalance because a team then has more high priority targets for less cost
it's still a problem now, but everything is so crazy that it's hard for people to really care
marksmen are arguably WAY less important than they used to be, but they are still one of the most powerful and influential roles in the game
the entire game is a mess. Still fun, but a lot of strategies enter my head simply because they effectively cheese the current system that the most people use (such as a ranged klepto top or etc due to the necessity of front-line champions)
the biggest issue with marksmen going into other lanes...usually they only do so when they can perform BETTER than their competition, such as Vayne going top, ezreal mid, etc
Anytime you leave botlane you take over other lanes due to the sheer power of "right click" lol. Riot can't make team dependent champions and have them be able to win solo lanes by themselves.
Most of those examples didn't even get nerfed because of the fact they were able to be in another role, they were already strong by themselves. Miss Fortune support was a counterpick to Zyra in competitive play lmao. When was Twitch jungle even nerfed? Its always been a niche pick.

Yeah. So when adc is only playable in one role they should be the best in that role. Look at any other classes and where they can be played.
Mages - mid jungle top support Bruiser - jungle mid top Tank - mid jungle support top Assassin - mid jungle support
Yeah and they have been the best in bot lane for the majority of the game's lifespan. What?
Only a minority played non-ADCs during the crit rework. Most of the champs played were still ADCs. Mages were introduced to try and stop the ADCs from scaling during the time, but they were still the best at their role.

A minority? So you mean 10+ champions in a class that has the fewest number of champions? And non adcs were a joke. They were so bad that karthus became the best Adc in the game.
Are you reading what I'm saying?
A MINORITY OF PEOPLE PLAYED NON-ADCS DURING THE CRIT REWORK. THE CRIT REWORK, WHEN ADCS WERE AT THEIR WEAKEST, STILL HAD MOST BOTLANERS PLAYING ADCS IN SOLO QUEUE. ADCS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE STRONGEST BOT LANERS, THE CRIT REWORK ONLY INTRODUCED OTHER OPTIONS THAT WERE VIABLE BUT WEAKER.
Hopefully capitalizing will help you understand a little bit easier. But hey, if you just want to "reeeeeeee anything but ADCs are bad, right click good," be my guest. You can do it alone though.

Fine let me capitalize it for you.
IF A CLASS IN ONLY RIOT APPROVED FOR ONE FUCKING ROLE, THEN WHEN ANYTNING BECOMES EVEN VIABLE IN THEIR ROLE THEY SHOULD BE GUTTED FOR THE SAME REASON.
What? Why? Because ADCs cry the hardest?
What? Why? Because ADCs cry the hardest?
Adc is the only class that is only riot approved for one role.
So if they aren’t the best in that one role, the class immediately becomes garbage.
Also. That’s a weird way to say bruisers.
Riot approved for one role. Since when?
They have been the best in their role. Mages were used to try and counter ADCs because of how strong they are early game and midgame compared to ADCs. ADCs have never been garbage lol.

Riot approved for one role. Any time an adc is good in any other role they get gutted.
So they are only auto approved in one role.
Anytime an ADC is in any other role they take over that one role lmao. That is why they get gutted for that role.
Riot would allow ADCs in other role, but the way the class works won't allow that.
thats because ranged adc automatically beats melee adc (top lane) automatically beats mages because they are gates by cooldowns in the early game (mid) and if you see a champion designed to be an adc function even better in jungle then they are completely broken by nature, since they weren't designed for it.
the only reason adc get nerfed once they enter other lanes is because they beat everything there. well that and riot enforcing a meta. i still prefer adc over mage in toplane with the only exception being lucian
picking a random melee toplaner into a bot lane matchup is pretty much the same as handicapping yourself, unless you can think of an insane combination that removes drawbacks or doubles down on what that champion is already good at

That’s not addressing my point.
Adc is litteraly only riot approved for one role. Every other class has 3+ options for roles to be in. Adc is the only one who can only be played in one place.
So should they not be pissed if the only place they are allowed by riot to be gets taken over by another class?

it's because they would inevitably be the strongest due to what they are. the very reason they have a support over other champions is because they are guaranteed carries if your supports get you fed. why do you think nobody has ever played other combinations on the higher level? ( i acknowledge sona+taric as the only one from recent memory)
i dont actually know how to argue against you. people created a strategy and riot around season 6 or so decided it would be that by default.
like if any class had to be forced into a single role it would have to be marksmen because they are RANGED rightclickers. especially after they gave them utility to function around season 4 or something idk wasn't there at the time. can't dodge their shit man, can't escape their range. mages can be dodged. melee you can run away from, assassins are all melee but have mobility your support deals with them, all tanks are melee.
you cannot escape ranged right clicks. they'd beat literally everything until assassins one shot them or tanks stop them from functioning, which is why they are supported by support champs. it's a cycle we can't escape from.
WHEN did Vayne and Lucian get gutted. they got Fighter items gutted while they themselves got buffs.
Those adcs still do just fine mid and jungle They were nerfed to not auto win in those roles which is why people picked them and people say since they cant auto win anymore why even pick them.
Very convient to exclude

so i would like to say that certain adcs are still viable top and will always be viable if you know how to play them such asssss
i been running vayne as a tank with just botrk and rage blade and still fuck ppl up. akso the biggest problemin top is range in general being able to abuse the few runes top laners can take and using them better. like jesus i been running tank ziggs with grasp and abusing base damages on his q to power shove lane and poke ppl out.
Says the adc.
Says the adc.
Funny I’m actually a Kayn main but w/e
compared to pyke, they are weak, so they need buffs -riot logic
Nocturne is garbo
Because Riot supports the community addiction to damage. If Aatrox is overtuned...rathe than Nerf him, because he's exciting and a fan favorite, they buff other champs to become just as OP.
To your Jax point specifically, though, Jax previously was not nerf worthy before. See the concept of a champion scaling to infinity and essentially being the literal best at dueling late game is not inherently an issue.
It only becomes an issue if your early game doesn't suck. If your early game is garbo, then you can be literally the best late game champ there is. It's a trade off right?
But this is where Riot drops the ball by chasing audience approval like a dog chasing it's tail. They have to make games shorter and make fighting happen earlier cuz the 15 year olds are getting bored. But then they also have to let scaling side lane champs be strong cuz those same selfish, "I'm gonna carry through a high light reel or I'm going to lose quickly" players also get mad when the game demands they learn how to team fight, control vision, and play the map. They want solo laners impact.
So they need Jax to be a viable pick, but they also need his early game to not be complete trash anymore. They backed themselves into a corner by not putting their foot down and saying, "Hey guys, we hear you, and we understand, but we believe in the long run that style of change/game is not going to be healthy for gameplay and champ pools long term"
It's all smoke and mirrors, all a refusal to appear as anything other than a yes man to your customers. And it breaks the game, ruins the integrity of the product. It's a short term gain for an exponential increase in risk long term. Same problem blizzard and many other top game producers have. They pass control to penny counters, who dictate that dev teams soak up as much profit as they can right now, leaving no freedom to create a long term tradition and overarching game.
Think of the NFL and NBA and traditional sports like that. They change very slowly and intentionally, but because there is no competition for the quality of their product and players they sustain year after year. Not worrying about reinventing the game, but tweeking to increase gains over time
facts, this person knows what they are talking about. I figure another issue with the bloating buffing is another symptom of what you stated. They keep raising the buff bar, bc there are fan favorites, then the group of buffed champions above the bar keeps growing to keep the characters on the same lv, pulling more and more up, then they don't really take time to look around when it old fan favorites are now below they bar, instead of trying to figure out how to steadily bring everything back down, they just start the buff cycle all over again
aatrox got nerfed like 5 times already. they are nerfing every champion that is strong (except riven) and then they buff all the other champions liek they did last patch
Its pretty good for the meta to buff things that people aren't playing at a competitive level.
People dont play these champions at a competitive level.
^ basically patch notes btw
Nocturne needed a buff.
Jax did not.
And please no stupid DMG nerf on his R, it isn't that relevant as long as it still does Damage. The Problems are his CD and him letting no one escape once he has perma Q + E with 40% CDR + SoS.
Nocturne really needed the buff. Every assassin and/or diver does his job better. J4 was superior in every possible way.
Now Nocturne has a healthy enough clear to at least try ganking pre-6 and not get bumfucked by raptors.
Because they've been at a low winrate and mostly unplayable for anyone so they buffed them.

Jax had 52% win rate in master+ almost every patch before this buff. Now he has 54% and 58% in challenger. What an unplayable champion...
Well according to sites like op.gg, he has been having a 46 to 50% winrate the last couple of patches so you're just incredibly wrong.

And how about stop using fake data from shit sites and start using credible data from u.gg that has the most accurate statistics according to Riot?
Sounds like you're the only one using fake data and should really learn proper communication and research skills.
So if I am using datas from the site that was said to be the most accurate by Riot it means I am using fake data?
Are you okay bud? Have you visited your doctor recently?
lol, you're not but ok
Jax no idea, but Noct was to clearly sell that upcoming skin ;)
Noct needed it. Jax did not
Seems like Riot wanted to make Jax counter ranged lane bullies harder. But like... the only reason ranged lane bullies are popular is because bruisers like Jax beat the snot out of everybody else in the lane... Hmmmmm
Worlds
Dont know about jax.
But Nocturn is getting a new skin. Better rush that buff for sales.
Nocturne needs a rework, not a buff. He is horribly outdated by the standards of today's champions which are hyper-mobile by comparison. He is a good duellist pre-6 which is to say there are some champions he can beat and some he can't and a lot of the meta picks are ones he can't. At 6 he becomes a decent assassin but he doesn't really do anything unique. Yeah he can jump on people that are out of position but what assassin can't do that?
Nocturne starts to fall off hard after mid game and the novelty of being able to ult people from long range wears off, even when fed you usually need to land your fear to secure a kill, there are plenty of other champions which could delete their target quicker. His spell shield is way too situational to be reliable in the chaos of mid/late game team fights and his "Q" is really just for utility and not damage.
