hmm? Pretty dumb to play against if you have played adc or any no escape laners. Easy mode 5000 range engage with insane tankyness. Is anything going to be done?

He has no hard CC, and only offers a slow for peel on his carry, there are much stronger and more useful tanks with CC that can do way more as a support than trundle.. Alistar Braum Gragas Leona Nautilus Shen TahmKench

Trundle : Has an ice which slows enemies around it, and a Q that briefly slows an enemy.

Compared to.....

Alistar : Does an AoE knock-up & slow, plus a knock-back. Braum : Stacks his stuns on multiple enemies at once, & leaves a giant knockup & slow field. Nautilus : Can pull a single enemy, does an AoE slow on a short cooldown, and an AoE knock-up ult.

So I dunno which part is there you don't understand. Either my points could be wrong, or you got rekt by a Trundle in your last game & now posting a QQ thread such as this.

I actually checked the wiki immediately after reading that wondering how I had missed a slow in his kit for several years...

It's after the knock-up on his Q. It leaves a brief slow after landing. Checked wiki myself, and can't really remember if it were a slow or a stun.

IIRC, it's a 0.5 second stun.

I may be silver but that item works wonders. I rarely ever upgrade it, it is a measley 800 gold for some lane dominance.

ADCs only buy it past laning phase to counter stuff such as mundo/illaoi or some heavy self sustainer otherwise it's not good at all. However buying it to beat a trundle in lane when they're the supp is not something worth doing.

It's easier to just harass the adc and play safe so his pillar doesn't lock you into a wall.

It's called freezing lane, it's one of the basics for any laner to learn, once you practice proper harassing you can start leaning more towards zoning during your freeze.
