It is when it’s part of his 2 part passive. Also jhin is different because he is giving up other stats to do this. Like his attack speed.
And he is top tier in 3 roles. His nerf might drop him down a little bit. But considering his competition in those roles are getting hit as well it’s nit going to be that impactful.
And free stats is different when it’s 2000 gold worth of it, at 2 items. He spends 6300 gold and gets 8300 worth of stats. That’s 7 kills. Just for clicking lock in on yasuo.

All passives of all champions don't need to be of the same value. Same as all Q abilities don't need to be equally strong.
Kits are not to be judged in parts but as wholes.

Like I said. There’s a big difference between say. Shyvana getting like 30 mr and armor and yasuo getting 50% crit for free with no down side.

You’re point would be valid if that’s all it was. So fine. Well use kayn. Red form as an example here. Seeing as you so generously used my main as an example.
What does red kayn get. Q - entirely %hp damage on a cooldown that you need cdr for. If you land 2 skillshots, you do double damage W - damage and a knock up E- some small healing and a mobility that is shiet while in combat. Ult - %hp damage and a %hp steal. (Only viable against a tank) Passive - healing on damage dealt by abilities.
What does yasuo get.
Q1 - damage that can crit multiple targets Q2 - damage that can crit multiple targets Q3 - damage that can crit multiple targets and a knock up all of these reduce cd based on attack speed. W - blocks incoming projectiles, can be juggled inside for immunity for projectiles E - extremely low cooldown mobility that requires a target, can be used to make q—3 point and click. R - fuck ton of damage, knock up extension, 50% armor pen for x amount of time. Resets shield passive Passive - a shield from walking that only procs on damage, double crit chance. (2000 gold of a measurable stat)

I was never saying yasuo is weak or he is not strong or whatever. I just think comparing singular elements in 1 champions kit and calling them "free" or whatever is just ignorant. A champion is balanced as a whole, not each part separately.

He is unstoppable late game. He should be balanced with a weak early game. That shield allows him too much farming and trading early which makes no sense.
