Daily Remember Tank Ekko Is Not A Problem

Just going to post this everyday so people are aware.

Ekko is fine as is. People act as if the recent buffs made him superman and that he's able to do 100200230200230 damage that Riot gave him when it was only a cooldown reduction.

So, I've been playing Ekko since his release, he was my first champion I ever bought. I gotta say as a tank Ekko, it's the best form, I can dive a turret, kill a squishy and ult back out but a squishy is simply just that.. A squishy. Ekko's base damages are actually lower than most assassins, he more so abuses the items if anything, so it's not really a problem with the champion overall. Anyhow, once he has those items, I can definitely say for sure there are many more tanks out there that do WAY MORE DAMAGE than a tank Ekko goes. Way more damage. Volibear for example can just slaughter teams, it's disgusting.

AP Ekko is not good, he is too squishy and can get blown up before he even reaches 6. Ahri, Zed, and tons of others do massive damage to him. Zed can practically delete him at level 5 from a Q, W combo. So yeah, Ekko must go top, or jungle given that the mid lane Ekko has been nerfed to hell on his release although that was needed but now people are saying the tank Ekko is a problem.

HIs Q is easy to avoid.

His W is fairly easy to avoid, predictable.

His E is telegraphed, you know when he is ready to blink.

His R is telegraphed, you know where he is going to ult and it's very hard to land the ult offensively on someone who is paying attention unless you can stun them with W and such but even then, W doesn't give enough time for the shadow/clone to get in range. I don't have a problem with Ekko's ult at all honestly, I can still kill him after he ults, especially in team fights when I notice he is low and I'll move over to his clone while my team forces him to ult. It's not as worse as Zed who can get away.

If I had to nerf Ekko, it could be a change to his passive, instead of a slow once his passive procs, how about just a movement speed for Ekko, and no slow for the enemy? That's about it honestly. Maybe nerf his shield on W, but really, the champion is honestly fine tho his kit does have a lot of stuff in it, but he is ultilty and doesn't output the damage all the other assassins do, you gotta stop saying he can.

All those other assassins could build tank and do crazy damage too, a squishy is meant to be killed easy. A tank Katarina, tank Zed, or anyone still would fuck up an adc.....Tank Akali.

The items are more so to blame. People cry about adc's, now people crying about tanks? The community can never reach a conclusion, this is why Riot doesn't listen, there is so many mixed opinions.

Also, if you made it this far... The biggest reason tank Ekko does the most damage? It's cause you fed him. Literally thats the reason and the reason people even make nerf threads is because they get their asses handed to them by a champion and feed that champion then come cry nerf on the forums. STOP FEEDING HIM. He isn't a problem. Be sure to ward, listen to your pings, pay attention. Any fed champion destroys no matter what.

Tank ekko is a problem, along with the other plethora of champions that can abuse iceborne sunfire. You don't in fact have to feed him for him to become a massive threat simply by way of base damages and building super beefy.

He is an assassin and is meant to be one so if he is not doing that role well, then it is up to Riot to fix that and not push him into another role. Doing so disrupts the balance. He has utility, AOE, and CC while being incredibly swift and having the ability to be untargetable and even save himself from death. That should not be in a tank. He shares similar problems with Tank Fizz.

He is not untargetable even for a second when he ults. it's nothing compared to Fizz's E where he can just sit there for a good amount of time before coming down, so if you got a issue with that of Ekko's ult, its quite laughable.

He is an utility assassin, Riot even said that.

He gets pushed into a certain role because he fails his primary role but seeing that you cannot read, I'll re say this.. Other assassins can build full tank and do MORE damage than Ekko can. It's a problem with item balancing. Hell, even ADC's can build tank and do good damage. I don't get your points at all and why you fail to see this because it should be clear as day.

Other assassins can build full tank and do MORE damage than Ekko can.

Other assassins building full tank won't have nearly as much utility as Ekko, and won't be as tanky.

The part about dealing less damage than other full tank assassins also isn't exactly true, i.e. Talon's base damages add up for 1035 damage combo, while Ekko has 1140 combo, and more DPS from his two passives.

I can definitely say for sure there are many more tanks out there that do WAY MORE DAMAGE than a tank Ekko goes. Way more damage. Volibear for example can just slaughter teams, it's disgusting.

Yes, as all juggernauts. The point about juggs is they are kiteable and lack CC. Tank Ekko is very hard to kite and has crapton of CC. He s somewhat easier to kill than Bear when he pops his passive, but Bear's passive has static cooldown of 120s while Tank Ekko's ult is nearly spammable - with a Gauntlet it's up almost twice as often as Voli's.

While I utterly hated FishTank, he wasn't remotely as absurd as Ekko as a tank, unlike FishTank EkkoTank actually has the utility to fullfill the role as a disrupting tank.

A tanky assasin who can burst people out of the blue after doing a risky dive is NOT Ekko's intended role.

His squishiness is what kept Ekko as a high risk high reward type of assassin, and apparently, his effective tanky builds negates all that. That's also typically why Tank Yi was nerfed as well.
