varus needs a buff of some sort so far the best thing that they did to him was making his ult a shorter cd. but he is outshined by other adcs realistically there isnt really anything great about him. grant it if you go ap your damage is high as hell more so then other ap mages. my idea would be to make his q like tfs q no damage reduction through pierciing and instant cast. thats not asking for much hell reduce the ad ratio scaling on it. varus needs some sort of buff casue there is other adc who does what he does but better.

Varus is different from other ADC's. He is incredibly immobile, having no dash, but he makes up for it by having decent range, good poke, and a root. His poke is insane. You can basically go pewpew outside of their range and they can't do anything to you unless you get flanked, caught out of position, or if they have a better poker (which there isn't many). He has a CC that can be used for both engage and disengage depending on the situation.

His laning phase I feel is his biggest hurdle. Compared to the current top tier ADC's, he can't trade with them without it going poorly for him. Also since all his abilities (except W) are skill shots, if he misses them or he gets outplayed, your damage falls off HARD. I feel your real complaint with him is that he can't blow up people like Graves/Corki, but since he isn't designed to fight that way, I don't really know what you want for him.

He is just broken and outdamages every ADC except for Jinx and Vayne.... oh you forgot that didn't you.

out damages how. his passive is about worthless he isnt bursty . his range is okay. his q is a skill shot that has damage reduction when piercing. no attack speed buff like kog maw or trist no escape slow as heck. has to rely on ult as a escape if it comes to that. his e slow isnt really doing anyhting

Varus is an immobile AD caster. He is designed NOT to require crit to work.

And AD varus mid (with no crit) works very well.

As a Varus main, I can say that this is in fact, not true in the slightest. A Lucian will destroy him, a jinx will destroy him, the only adc I seem to have much luck against with him is vayne. Now if it's me and my duo in bot lane then yeah he's op cause thresh just lands a hook and boop, so much damage.

He could use a new passive and maybe some other tweaks imo.

I suggested adding an active to his Blighted Quiver where it would be an active (in addition to its passive effect) that would give his next ability an additional effect if/when it triggers blight.

Idk.. His passive is kinda underwhelming though for sure..

I feel like Varus passive should take jhin crit change passive instead of attack speed, cause all you really need on Varus is cdr and flat damage, with maybe some penetration if they're tanky. Also if you want you can get a little bit of attack speed like a Bork and youmoos to get w stacks faster, but they're kinda underwhelming most of the time Early game though, if you max q and w alternatively with e as your last max ( let's be honest his e is pretty trash) your poke will do so much damage

I would rather have the bonus ad tbh, cause most of the time you're going to poke from the back lines and hardly ever get your stacks anyway unless you ult ( so happy they made his ult give w stacks). Then again you could just build him ad faster like you're supposed to and get decent attack speed with lots of damage

his passive is useless it doesnt do anything. or if u made his passive to on hit attack speed like a rageblade passive meaning every aa you build stacks of attack speed liek rage blade. but as it stands his passive isnt good

Make attack speed an active on his W with scaling Profit.

something needs to change because he is the weakest adc in my opinion however he is like the only adc i play as. i like to go ap becuase it is the stronger side of him well his damage is equal in my opinion whether you go ap or ad the reason is his q balances the power house burst of ap but still it doesnt coem that close becuase you can 2 shot most champs when you go ap , let them stack hp it deosnt matter when you do hp % damage meaning having 5k hp is the same as having 1k hp for ap varus does the same damage . but ad wise something should change
