MF, Lucian, Jhin
they're all basically caster ADCs so why is it bad that they use caster items. I actually think it's better for the game, than making them all build crit, in theory at least
the only issue I ever had with it is that they were still scaling hard into late when melee casters (read: assassins) would fall off

Ralanr3 votesThe problem (imo) is that marksmen scale hard late game better than any other class in comparison. To the point where they have to be compared to other members of the class to determine "falling off"
When fighting a late game marksman, I rarely see much difference in their damage output as they gun me down.

Ralanr2 votesI wish they would. It never feels like Lucian falls off as a lane bully when comparing him to non marksmen lane bullies like Darius. But I doubt they will because of the lack of good late game carries outside of the marksmen class.
Basically we need melee carries to be viable and not broken.

Jbels2 votesBecause Casters tend to have high base damage on their abilities with poor-average scaling ratios. This makes them slightly worse at dealing with tanks and much better than normal ADCs at dealing with squishy champions. Lucian was oppressive because of that Armor pen, Jhin was oppressive because of it. It's better if they don't get access to it
