When a champion goes on sale, could the IP price be reduced as well?

It doesnt even have to be 50% off of the IP price, but even a 10% or 25% decrease would be nice. Yes, there is plenty of players that have all the champions, but as someone who hasnt been playing for very long the #1 thing about the new player experience I did not like is how difficult it is to get champions. I can legitimately play 10 games a day every single day and sometimes that still wouldnt be enough IP to get a 6300 champion. This would be something to keep people interested enough to keep an eye on sales and help reduce the grind just a little bit.
