Teamwork - Close Combat - is the restriction worth the tradeoff?

"Active only as a 5 person premade group". I understand why, but is it worth the tradeoff of having accidentally done this with randoms and not getting credit?

Not salty - I got the pass thing so I'll have more than enough tokens to get what I want. Just wanted to point out that it feels really bad to have done this and not gotten credit for it despite doing it under harder circumstances than what Riot asked for.
