I'll say it - Poro Mode Summoners should be a fixture for ARAM

Melee not named Leona and Alistar get to be viable. They add skilled play to the game. It removes the ability of ranged poke/heal the get-out-of-jail free card that is flash.

The poro toss SS (lee sin q) should be moved to a 30 second cooldown, and the to-the-king SS (lee sin w) should be useable on an allied siege/super minion on a 45 second cooldown.

Edit: it's not saving my formatting, I don't want a wall of text :(

The poro toss spell alone would do wonders for the balance of the mode. It doesn't have to be poros, and it doesn't have to be such a short CD. Hell, it doesn't even have to do damage when it lands. Just giving melee champions a gapcloser summoner spell to pick could do so much good.

I support this plan, and am happy to be a part of it.

plus it adds bans to aram, which is pretty nice. +1

Poro toss alone is a huge buff for melees. Having both would be overkill. Initiation should still involve some kind of commitment.

I disagree with the 45 sec Lee Sin W. I think it's fine as it is now, it seems to be working quite well, though once people have played more (100+ games) we might find some issues with the mode.

I think it's a significant step up from ARAM since it nerfs poke and buffs melee. Poke is still viable and strong, but it's not as overpowering as ARAM poke.

At the very least, you should turn a Poro into your Poro Icon if you feed them a snack before a normal Aram match.

I play a lot of ARAM and though I really like Poro King mode I'm not so sure normal ARAM needs a poro toss summoner spell. The only champion I've yet to find a way to play viably in the mode is Evelynn and I'm sure that's just cause she's harder to figure out for it like Riven, Tryndamere, Garen, and Rengar who are all viable if built and played properly, but are hard to figure out at first. It all ends up coming down to itemization and team work.

Providing such a long range, easy to use gap closer to some champions completely unbalances them because counter play for them was often just about kiting. I wouldn't mind Poro King mode sticking around as a mode in custom games though.
