pretty sure Nid was reworked because of everything she had going along with the ability to destroy people from that far away. You couldn't get to close to her without her just switching to cougar form and rip your face off or just hopping away with you having no way of catching up to her while she resumed chucking spears the instant she was faraway from you or that she would just land a single spear and then switch to cougar and maul your ass down with you having little to do since she essentially had infinite hops before.

pretty sure it was her spears chunking people for 2/3 their HP with a spammable. Believe they said something along the lines of there was never a time where you wanted to stop throwing spears

and i am pretty sure that it was everything else that she had going besides her spears. Yes her spears did a ton of damage but you couldn't get close to her to punish her. She could just escape like it was nothing or she could just outright kill you like it was nothing. She could chase you down like it was nothing. There was literally no winning move against old Nid. You either CC'd her to oblivion or blow her up. i would rather play against Zoe a million times than a pre-rework Nid once. I can at least attempt to do stuff against Zoe unlike pre-rework Nid where everything i did would just end up in me dying or she getting away like nothing happened

in my opinion, you can't compare old nid with Zoe. and too tired to go full explanation mode. there was one post about this the guy explained it perfectly should have saved it :(

You are entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. Zoe shares the major problem that they reworked Nid for.
