Kindred was a prototype that wasn't designed to last and sufferes now for it

Kindred seems more like a prototype of an experiment of how poorly can we design stacking and built so extremely heavily to favor devourer (they sued to literally have a quote for buying the item before it was removed). All the power of their design was loaded into that idea and they still hold that design inspiration even now long after devourer has been removed and even after that poor attempt at an update.

At their announcement it was said that riot looked at other jungle marksman for inspiration into the strengths that they offered as choices with twitch and twisted fate as the specifically named examples that riot used. What these marksman and similarly quinn and ez, offered was extreme map presence especially compared to kindred.

Maybe there is room for a unique new idea for a new niche to try out, but frankly failing at both the design/release and the update of the champ it is time to go back to the drawing board from ground up with this champ though.

Nah. Just leave her in the dumpster. Top lane is already infested with ranged champions. Jungle is the last bastion where melees get to really shine. Nidalee and Graves have been nerfed hard as well. No reason to cry about Kindred.
